These 5 nutrition advice are very bad for you:
1. Margarine is more healthy than butter.
2. Avoid egg yolks.
3. Use polyunsaturated seed oil for cooking.
4. Calories In Calories Out (CICO).
5. Eat low fat and high carb diets.
Margarine is very bad for you because it is made from the hydrogenation of seed oils, with plenty of unhealthy additives and inflammatory trans fats. It is even worse when combined with refined carbs, wheat, and its derivatives.
On the other hand, butter is made directly from milk fats. It is very healthy.
Eggs are one of the most nutrient-dense foods because they contain a significant amount of almost all the nutrients needed for optimal health, except vitamin C.
Ninety percent of these nutrients are found in the yolk, so it is a very bad idea to avoid it. It is protective for your heart too.
Eat eggs whole.
Seed oils, also known as vegetable oils or polyunsaturated fats, are being promoted as heart healthy oils. They are very inflammatory and are better off as engine oil than human food.
Avoid them: canola, soy, palm olein, rapeseed, corn, rice bran oil, and others. They are very unhealthy.
Calories in is not equal to calories out because the body is hormonal. In other words, calories are not the same.
Two hundred calories from meat and two hundred calories from donuts do not elicit the same hormonal response. Hormones are the reason you lose or gain weight.
High carb and low fat diets are often recommended, but carbs convert to fat and stimulate a high insulin response. This can contribute to unnecessary weight gain, possible insulin resistance, and metabolic issues.
Carbs should be kept lower and paired with protein or fats. Fat is not the reason people get fat. Fats elicit a very low insulin response.
Fat is more important than carbs in the grand scheme of things because, apart from providing more energy, fats also help with the absorption of vitamins A, D, E, and K, which are necessary for optimal health.
I hope this helps.
