🌟 Seize the Reward and Mercy of Allâh ﷻ !

🗓️ Fasting Schedule

📍 Thursday, 8th Muharram
✅ Sunnah Fasting (Thursday)

📍 Friday, 9th Muharram – Tāsūʿāʾ
✅ The day before ʿĀshūrāʾ

📍 Saturday, 10th Muharram – ʿĀshūrāʾ
🌟 Expiates the sins of the past year!

📍 Monday, 12th Muharram
✅ Sunnah Fasting (Monday)

📍 Tuesday, 13th Muharram
🌙 1st of the White Days (Ayyām al-Bīḍ)

📍 Wednesday, 14th Muharram
🌙 2nd of the White Days

📍 Thursday, 15th Muharram
🌙 3rd of the White Days + Sunnah Thursday

🌟 Reward for Fasting ʿĀshūrāʾ

The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said:
“Fasting the day of ʿĀshūrāʾ—I hope from Allâh it will expiate (the sins of) the year that came before it.”
📖 (Muslim)

🔴 IMPORTANT ‼️
🌙 Is it Sunnah to fast on the 11th of Muharram, the day after ʿĀshūrāʾ?

✅ The Sunnah is to fast on the 9th and 10th of Muharram, based on the Prophet ﷺ saying:
“If I live until next year, I will certainly fast on the 9th.”
📖 (Narrated by Muslim)

⚠️ Fasting on the 11th of Muharram is based on a weak hadith:
“Fast a day before it or a day after.”
📖 (Ahmad) | This narration contains a weak narrator in its chain.

📖 Shaykh al-Albānī رحمه الله تعالى graded it as weak in Silsilah al-Ahādīth al-Ḍaʿīfah ( #4296), and it is not considered a Sunnah practice.

✅ The recommended and established practice is to fast on the 9th and 10th of Muharram.

May Allâh ﷻ accept our fasting, forgive our sins, and grant us His immense mercy.
