5 INTERESTING REASONS FOR MAIZE TODAY

I used to dream of becoming a doctor
But JAMB messed me up for 4years
So, I finally decided to settle for Biochemistry
Everything went well in first and second year good grades all.
By the end of 3rd year an incidence happened that changed my life
My dad fell seriously sick and was rushed to several hospitals.
I had to be with him in the hospital most of the time seeing his condition
Made me unhappy most of time. One of the hospital routine checks the doctor
Informed me that we take him home they have no hope he will survival
This got me really thinking realizing how much we have spent still no result
I then came across a friend who introduced me to the use natural foods for healing.
So I started researching.
One day I came across a book the ‘’Hallelujah Diet’’ that revealed lots of testimonies
Of over 30 people suffering several ailments who got totally cured without the use of drugs.
Well I read the book and it opened me to entirely new information.
Although most of food samples sited where mostly were all these Oyibo foods
I continued to research and I started discovering a lot of our Nigerian foods
And their health benefits that we are ignorant of.
All these was back then in 2012,
And I began to apply 90% of my discoveries on my dad’s diet.
Amazingly in 3months time his health had an amazing improvement
He started regaining his strength, and healed very fast.
Within a year he was back on his feet bouncing around like a little baby.
I would be sharing with you all of these natural foods that played the trick
Beginning today, with maize.
Maize also known as corn has been scientifically proven to be a beneficial food and medicine for humans and animals. Maize belongs to poaceae family and known as Zea Mays botanically.
Medicinal uses of maize include urinary tracks trouble, diabetes, cough, gall bladder stone, prostate,
constipation, oedema, heart problems kidney and hypertension remedies.
Maize can be used for the preparation of many house hold and commercial foods as well as
Pharmaceutical uses. Many food manufacturers cannot do without adding maize to their raw materials
And animal foods contain between fifty to ninety nine percent of maize throughout the world. Maize
powder is highly priced in the international market. It is an international pharmaceutical raw material.
MEDICINAL USES OF MAIZE
Maize is diuretic, demulcent and carminative.
1. OBESITY: Get some of the corn silk into a pot of hot water. Allow to infuse for about ten minutes. Filter and take a glass of three times daily.
2. KIDNEY PROBLEM: put some handful of corn silk into boiling water for about ten minutes. Filter and take a glass three times daily.
3. HYPERTENSION: Use as stated above for obesity and kidney problems. Take a glass two times daily.
4. DIABETES: Whole maize is one of the best food for diabetic patient because of its
Diuretic property and fiber contents. The diabetic can eat maize without the fear of
Increase in its blood sugar. The diabetic can also use corn silk as in hot water filter
And take a glass two times daily
5. PROSTATE ENLARGEMENT: corn silk prevents and treats prostate enlargement,
Continues use the of corn silk reduces the growth of the prostate in men and also
Increases smooth flow of urine.
6. ODEMA: built up fluid in the body can be flushed out through urination. This is where
Corn silk comes to the rescue. This diuretic medicine promotes healing.
7. CANCER: World health organization (WHO) suggests consumption of complex
