Measles–Rubella (MR) vaccination is a routine immunization service for children aged 9 months to 14 years, aimed at preventing childhood illnesses, complications, and deaths.
The MR vaccination campaign is ongoing, kicking off today and running from the 2nd to the 15th of this month.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to ensure all eligible children are vaccinated to keep our communities safe and healthy.
Protect a child. Prevent measles and rubella. Vaccinate today. 💉🧒🏽👧🏽

HER LIFE HUNG IN THE BALANCE — NOT JUST BECAUSE OF A SNAKE, BUT BECAUSE THERE WAS NO ANTIVENOM.

A long post though

A woman was bitten by a snake.
Fear set in. Pain followed.

But the biggest danger wasn’t the bite alone — there was no anti-snake venom available.

Snakebite is a medical emergency, not a village issue, not a spiritual issue.
Without timely access to antivenom, lives are lost unnecessarily.

When snakebite happens:

👉Keep the victim calm and still

👉Immobilize the bitten limb

👉Avoid cutting, sucking, tourniquets, or herbs

👉Rush to the nearest health facility immediately

This story is not to spread fear — it is to spread awareness.
Many communities still lack access to lifesaving antivenom, and many lives depend on early action, correct first aid, and available healthcare.

Snakebite should not be a death sentence.
Access to care saves lives.
Awareness saves lives.

Let this be a call to action — for preparedness, for education, and for better health support in our communities.
