What if I told you, You could have a gross impact on the world even as a student

The OFAC Project presents you with this pleasant opportunity

The `Operation Feed an African Child, OFAC project` is a "Feed me I Feed you" initiative of the committee's annual humanitarian fair, a subsidiary to its maiden SCORP WEEK.

It is a day all SCORPions and decent medical students pay our dues by carrying on the legacy of goodwill and community service.

It is an altruistic step by we students to help tackle community issues in our own little way whilst fostering the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 2_ ZERO HUNGER)

With a friendly Budget, the project aims to sufficiently feed '60 Nigerian children' who are less privileged.
It is objectively structured to be executed in 1 day in Liason with care facilities
(Orphanariums/ Motherless babies home)

In line with SCORP's vision to globally promote peace and protect human rights, SCORP UNMSA is pleased to announce that our activities have been approved and enrolled under the Ethics and Human Rights in Health Program by International Federation of Medical Students' Associations, one of the world's oldest and largest student-run organisations.

This approval by the International Federation of Medical Students' Association(IFMSA) will help bring to the limelight most of our activities and help us achieve the goals and objectives of this wonderful association.

This is a big win for SCORP UNMSA and also requires more from us, but together we can!

STANDING COMMITTEE ON HUMAN RIGHTS AND PEACE, UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA MEDICAL STUDENTS ASSOCIATION, UNMSA💚

Many Nigerian students consider their mental health an insignificant part of their lives. The after effect of this, is the terrible news of su***de, poor performance in school and other acts that occur almost everyday due to this negligence and ignorances towards mental health.

SCORP - UNMSA is in collaboration with students to share personal stories of victors from this mental combat.
Having lost a friend to a mental health challenge, Buwovwi Ochuko through this wonderful piece is creating awareness on Nigerians' Nonchalance and Ignorance towards Mental health.
This engaging piece captures many relatable experiences of Nigerian students and how they battle with mental health challenges without even realising it.

Enjoy!

As we take care of our mental health, It is also important that we check up on our friends and pay close attention, they may be going through things that are difficult to express.
You might not have the solution but you might be a great help in their journey to healing.
