Typical Broiler Vaccination Schedule (Day-Old to Market/Stopping, ~6–7 Weeks)

Day 1 (at hatchery, day-old):
Marek's Disease (often HVT or Rispens strain) — Subcutaneous (SC) injection in the neck or in-ovo (in egg before hatch).
Purpose: Protects against tumors and paralysis; essential in most areas.

Days 5–7 (or 1–7 days):
Newcastle Disease (ND) + Infectious Bronchitis (IB) (often combined, e.g., LaSota or B1 for ND + Massachusetts for IB) — Eye drop, nasal drop, coarse spray, or drinking water.

Purpose: Prevents severe respiratory issues and high mortality; very common first field vaccine.

Days 10–14 (or 7–14 days):
Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD/Gumboro, intermediate strain) — Drinking water or eye drop.
Purpose: Protects the immune system (bursa); critical as maternal antibodies wane.

Days 14–21 (or 18–21 days):
Newcastle Disease (ND) booster (LaSota strain) — Drinking water or coarse spray.
Purpose: Reinforces immunity against ND.

Days 18–24 (or 20–28 days):
Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD/Gumboro) booster — Drinking water.
Purpose: Second dose for stronger protection in high-challenge areas.

Days 24–31 (or 28–35 days, optional in some programs):

Newcastle Disease (ND) additional booster (LaSota) — Drinking water.
Purpose: For extended grow-out or high ND pressure.
