WHO ARE YOU OBEDIENT TO?
NEXTtime let's us not allow our carnality to overrule us we left the most high and became obedient to man. It was disheartening that we suddenly declined from obeying Elohim to man all because we think you can get yourself a leader without the help of Yahweh. Yes I'm speaking to covenant children. For Yahweh is not a respecter of man. Or do you think he will compromise his laws and ordinances because of you
We were carried away by “Obedient” movement in late 2022. It was a in a slogan coined from the name of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi. Who decamped from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) due to the ill-treatment of the eastern people of Nigeria in the party.
Subsequently, he gained popularity through his manifesto, which gave millions of Nigerians hope.
His popularity went beyond ethnicity and religion; Christians, Muslims, Jews, and traditionalists joined the movement to give birth to a new Nigeria. This made some Sabbath observers to forget their faith and beliefs.
My concern is about the believers that compromised their standards in the bid for better governance. whose core belief is to hallow the Sabbath, according to Exodus 20:8–11. Here they were faced with the challenge of whether to vote or not.
What they see was only an opportunity to rescue Nigeria from the hands of evil leaders.
Then I asked, if believers could forget the laws of Yahweh due to hardship, suffering, and bad governance, which means our salvation is questionable.
Being beclouded with the thought of saving lives, our future and that of our children. Many have come to terms that voting on the Sabbath day is not work. While some still held unto their beliefs and insisted that voting is work since it is against the commandment of the Most-High, as quoted in Isaiah 58:12-13
The former group tagged it faith without work, believing that Almighty will not come down from heaven to give you a good leader, so you must work, (vote.) forgetting that, there are some battles we don't even attempt to war for it is Yahweh’s. So to speak you should hold your peace and do your part which is agitating against disenfranchisement.
Believing in your vote alone can be futile for Elohim alone has the power to change the hearts of men. Most-High is capable of using the people that will vote to bring a good leader if he wishes. Hence Jeremiah 29:9-11 said,
“This is what Yahweh says: When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place." For I know the plans I have for you," declares Yahweh, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
I believe this portion of the scripture should have convinced you that Elohim knows everything and Him alone is the Master planner.
Manifesto, prophecy, and Antecedents of a political party or a candidate are not Yahweh's plan. You might be right in your eyes, but remember that there is a way that seems reasonable to man, but the end thereof is destruction. proverbs 16:25.
Remember Rehoboam's manifesto was harsh, which led to the division of Israel, and the whole of Israel said, "To Your tents, O Israel.” see 1king 12:13-16.
This should serve as a lesson because what was written in the Bible is to instruct us and reprimand us. Here the Israelites later found Jeroboam as their king, and during the reign of King Jeroboam, he became more wicked than Rehoboam. He introduced idle worship, which makes the economy worse. Remember that they rejected Rehoboam for the hard tax that Solomon, his father, levied on them, and Rehoboam promised to double the tax, which brought division. This idle worship affected Israel's economy down to King Ahab's time when the Almighty caused rain to cease for three years and six months. 1king 18:1,2
Back to where we started, many believed Obi because of his manifesto, or probably because of his political antecedents. We are not condemning the choice you made, nor are we saying that you would have chosen otherwise.
No, what we are saying is that no manifesto, antecedent of a politician, or prophecy is greater than Yahweh's law. The Almighty can turn the hearts of the whole of Nigeria to vote for a good candidate if he wishes to give Nigerians good governance.
Looking for good governance with the power of your vote alone is underestimating the power of Yahweh.

Attending to one of the objections, "Why did Elohim allow six million Jews to die in the Holocaust?" Before I could even think about believing in Yahshua, I needed an answer to this question."
Answer: “I don't blame the Most-High for not saving you in times of trouble, as the Jews are now doing, but you fail to keep his commandments.”
Our goal is not for the world alone but for eternal life. If in this life only we have hope in the Messiah, we are of all men most miserable. 1Corithians 15:19.
Who will separate us from the love of the Messiah? Shall trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger, or sword? Romans 8:36 -39 As it is written:
"For your sake, we face death all day long;
"We are considered sheep to be slaughtered."
37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of Elohim that is in Yahshua Messiah, our Master.
Now that you have voted and the result is not in your favour, who are you now depending on to save you from the wicked government ?
Are you depending on the court, which is the last hope of the common man, or the umpire (INEC), who has marred the election? Or going back to the Most-High, whom you violently violated his law.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17. You can never be good or perfect without keeping Yahweh's commandment. As written in the following verses: Deut 28:1–15, Psalm 128:1-6
My brothers and sisters, we are not judging you; rather, we are correcting ourselves with love.
The Sabbath is very important to the Most-High; hence He declares that it is a sign between him and his people (Exodus 31:13–17). He doesn't want you to do any business on that day. He will be disappointed when he looks down on earth to see his people, you will be in line voting instead of resting and worshipping him.
Conclusion :
Do not forget the power bestowed on you as a child of Yahweh. We believers in Nigeria are significant we should agitate on disenfranchisement and appeal that the election should be shifted to any other neutral day rather than on Shabbath days. Till then let's cling unto Yahweh for we are in the world but not of the world.
