One way to accept people the way they are with their annoying traits is to discover their history.

Do not just think about how far they have to go, also consider how far they have come despite their hurts.

When you know what people have been through you will understand them more.
You will understand why they talk the way they do, why they react the way they do, why they are being too careful, and so on.

It's only history that can reveal this.

This is not a call to wallow in your bรฆd behavior and reject change, No this is a call to accept people the way they are while helping them become the best version of themselves.

We have become a trendy generation that prefers to follow trends other than our body signals.

You were told intermittent fasting works for weight loss, you start the journey without proper guidance, you begin to struggle with your focus and concentration, and you fight with fatigue.

Or is it the detox cleanser, you will visit the restroom like there's no tomorrow, hunger will make you lose focus, tiredness from all corners, and you might even vomit everything in your guts because you want to detoxify your system ๐Ÿ˜”

And so many.

I will urge you to pay attention as you read,

Before you follow any trend, test it and ensure truthfully that your body is not against it. You can't continue with intermittent fasting when you will have to struggle with your focus and concentration, how will you cope at work?

There are some other ways to deal with health issues other than that one way.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution that works for everyone. Everyone's body is unique, and what works for A may not work for B. Do you know positive speaking plays a huge role in your health?

In your tongue lies the power of life and death.

You can speak life,
You can speak healing,
You can speak health,
You can speak weakness,
You can speak strength,

The list goes on and on,
You can speak anything into your life.

You can positively calm your body and mind which in turn helps you reduce stress.

Depression and anxiety can be managed when you begin to refrain from negative thought patterns.

โœ…With money, you will have easy access to a variety of nutritious foods and different options to experiment with.

โœ…You can easily register for a gym membership, where you will be monitored and kept accountable.

โœ…You will have easy access to preventive care, such as routine medical checkups and screenings.

โœ…Relaxing activities like spa treatments, vacations, and wellness retreats become easy.

โœ…The thought of having an air purifier, a water filtration system, and ergonomic furniture is achieved.

โŒIt can become an enemy when you begin to indulge in excessive alcohol consumption, overeating, and substance abuse.
โŒIt's an enemy when you prefer to rely on quick fixes when addressing health issues; you will opt for expensive cosmetic procedures or trendy wellness treatments that won't address the root cause or even make sustainable changes. Your money buys you the quickest result.

Money is a defense; it can afford you the opportunity to prioritize your health and wellbeing, or it can lead you to temptations and challenges that contribute to unhealthy habits.

Just last week, I had a conversation with a colleague. He shared the different certifications he has on emergency response, we said it's something we should learn at least yearly to ensure we don't forget. Being a medical personnel people will always look up to you when issues arise.

We ended up advising ourselves to renew our certificates this quarter little did we know this would come up.

My dear friend, There are incidences that could be avoided with the right knowledge.

Avoid entering a boat and its siblings without a life jacket, with no diver, especially if you can't swim.

At this point it's a necessity for everyone to learn basic first aid treatment.

There are free courses on first aid treatment, emergency response, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), lack of funds isn't an excuse. Any time or resources you spend on your mind is an investment not a waste.

Learn how to swim, for me it's now a necessity. I have never tried.

No knowledge is a waste, it might come in handy some day.

Visit Coursera, Udemy, first aid for free, Oxford home study centre, EdApp, Cursa, there are so many of them.

Aunty, brother I know you might not need that certificate but you need the knowledge.

As long as we pray and trust God to save you always. Let's first play our role well.

Let me add to it, learn how to check vitals like blood pressure, pulse. Just learn even if you can't interpret. Call a friend for interpretation but check first. There are machines that are seamless to use.

Don't joke with this one life you have ooo, I don't have a spare and I am yet to achieve my God given purpose here on earth.
