Chlamydia infection.

Chlamydia is a common s*xual transmitted disease that can affect both men and women. It can also cause permanent damage to a woman’s reproductive system. This can also make it difficult / impossible for the affected women to get pregnant later.
Chlamydia might also cause a potentially fatal ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy that occurs outside the womb).

Transmission of Chlamydia.
You can contact it through vaginal, a**l or oral s*x with an infected person.
N/B: An infected pregnant mother can transmit it to their unborn child.

Signs and symptoms:
1) Abnormal vaginal discharge.
2) Discharge from p***s.
3) Burning sensation when peeing.
4) Pain and swelling in the testicles.
5) Re**al pain.
6) Bleeding between periods.

Treatment:
Antibiotic therapy for the affected patient and the s*xual partners of patients is recommended. Screening for other common s*xually transmitted infections should also be performed too.

Prevention:
Avoid vaginal, a**l or oral s*x.
Avoid multiple s*x partners.
Use condoms while having s*x.

Complications of Chlamydia;
Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). PID is an infection of the uterus and fallopian tubes that causes pelvic pain and fever.
Infection near the testicles (epididymitis).
Prostate gland infection.
Infections in newborns.
Ectopic pregnancy.
Infertility.

Herbal concoctions or Herbal drugs are potential poison to your Kidneys.
Run away from taking it for the health of your kidneys except you don't value your kidneys and want it to fail.

Don't say you're ignorant.

Herbs are no doubt the source of today's pharmacy but there are in right proportion and dosage. But herbal concoctions don't have any proportion,no exact dosage and we are aware that over dose of anything is bad.
Even paracetamol overdose can cause problem to the liver.

Many cases of Chronic Kidney Failure are associated with intake of herbal medicines.
Quit drinking agbo, and herbal concoctions so that your kidneys will live long.

This is me The Telehealth Nurse giving you a breakdown of what obesity can do to your body systems.

You usually consume heavy meals by 10pm in the night I wonder how you want the food to digest, yet you don't even exercise talk more of intermittent fasting, you still take high amount of sugar.

Well.... you can reduce obesity by :
1) Dietary changes like avoid processed, refined foods, sugars.
2) Physical activities like walking, running, jogging, climbing staircases.
3) Medication but I will advice you do the above first.
4) Hormonal treatments.
5) Surgery.
6) Gastric bypass.

Finally reduce your calories intake. Reduce or avoid alcohol consumption.

In the spirit of BREAST CANCER awareness month, I bring you the procedure to perform SELF BREAST EXAMINATION.

This helps in early detection of abnormalities on the breast, in early detection of breast cancer, breast lumps etc.

Stand up now and begin the examination of the breast by standing in front of a mirror to observe your two breasts note the color of the breasts, ni***es, shape of the two breasts.
Then follow the description and conclude the procedure.

Should in case you noticed anything report to doctor immediately.

You can only do dialysis which is very costly in our Africa world today or you go for kidney transplant which most times fail.

Polycystic kidney disease (PKD).
Polycystic kidney disease causes plenty cysts to grow in the kidneys. These cysts are normally filled with fluid. If they are many cysts or if they get too big, the kidneys can become damaged. This can cause slowly replacement of the kidneys by cysts thereby reducing kidney function and leading to kidney failure.

Causes:
It is an inherited disorder that is passed from parents to children through genes at the time of conception.

Signs and symptoms:
1) Most people don't experience any symptoms untill its causes kidney failure.
2) Back or side pain
3) An increase in the size of the abdomen
4) Blood in the urine
5) Frequent bladder or kidney infections
6) High blood pressure

Treatment:
1) There's no cure for PKD.
2) Supportive treatment which will help to slow the growth of cysts, control high blood pressure, manage pains.
3) Antibiotics can be give in cases of kidney and bladder infections
4) Healthy lifestyle by quitting smoking, alcohol consumption reduce salt intake, exercise.
5) Avoid caffeine.
6) Drink enough plain water.

Diagnosis:
Ultrasound
CT scan
MRI.

Advice:
Early detection and intervention will help to slow the growth of cysts, it will help to maintain functions of kidneys and prolong the onset of kidney failure.
Do well to visit a hospital today for medical checks up.
Do kidney function tests, ultrasound of the kidneys.
A healthy kidney means alots.

Yesterday I sat down on my lens mistakenly and it got broken 💔, I had to start making plans to get a new one but I shed tears when a frame sellers told me that frame price now is 8,000 naira😭 just frame oo I haven't added my prescription to it oh my God!!!.

You all have to respect anybody that wear lens we pay huge amount just to see you.
Again the condition of Nigeria is not helping also but today I'm encouraging you never to give up.

I want to utilize this opportunity to advise you to go for eye checks up.
