Its Friday!!!

"For most people, Friday is the finish line — a time to rest, relax, and recharge.
But in healthcare, there’s no Friday, no Saturday, no weekend — just dedication, compassion, and the call to care 24/7.

"For most people, Friday means weekend vibes 🎉
For us in healthcare, Friday is just… another day to save lives 🩺💙

"While many count down to Friday, we count down to the next patient who needs us. ❤️

The clock never stops, because illness doesn’t take a break.
We are here in the wards, in the clinics, in the theatres — watching over lives, answering emergency calls, holding hands through pain, and celebrating victories big and small.

We trade weekends for compassion, late nights for healing, and free time for the chance to make a difference.

To every healthcare worker out there — your dedication is priceless, your heart is unmatched, and your impact is beyond measure. 💙🩺

🩺 PAINKILLERS ARE NOT VITAMIN C

The Hidden Danger in that “Everyday” Tablet

In Nigeria today, paracetamol and ibuprofen are in almost every handbag and pocket — ready to fight any small headache, waist pain, or "body weakness".

But do you know that taking too many painkillers can quietly damage your liver, kidneys, and even your stomach?
________________________________________

🚨 Common Mistakes People Make

• Taking paracetamol daily, even without serious pain
• Taking overdose of paracetamol
• Mixing ibuprofen with alcohol
• Using painkillers with no food in your stomach
• Giving adult drugs to children
• Taking tramadol as if it's normal paracetamol — it is NOT!
• Using tramadol for s*x enhancement
________________________________________

💔 What Can Go Wrong?

• Liver failure (from too much paracetamol)
• Stomach ulcers and bleeding (from too much ibuprofen and paracetamol)
• Addiction and seizures (from tramadol)
• Kidney damage (from regular misuse)
________________________________________

✅ Safe Use of Painkillers

• Only take painkillers when you really need them
• Do not exceed the dose
• Do not mix with alcohol
• If the pain continues, see a doctor — don’t just keep taking pills
________________________________________

💬 Final Word

"Painkillers are not sweets. They are medicine — and all medicines have risks."

Talk to a healthcare professional before long-term use.
