Hello everyone, how are you doing, how was your day. Hope you had a wonderful day. Today we are going to talk about Infertility in both male and female, types, causes and how to detect it.
Infertility is the inability of married couples to conceive after one or two years of uninterrupted s*xual in*******se. Remember that I said that it must one or two years after marriage and anything less than it should not be concluded to be infertility. We have two types of Infertility which are Primary and Secondary Infertility. In primary Infertility there is no history of conception meaning that the woman did not conceive at all. But in Secondary Infertility there is history of conception meaning that the woman conceived and had one child and no one comes forth or that the woman conceived and had series of miscarriages.
There are so many factors that can cause infertility both in males and females.
Causes of Infertility in Females.
1) Infections like Gonorrhea, Syphilis and other Sexually Transmitted Infections.
2) Obstruction of the fallopian tube also called Sapengiatis.
3) Fibroid.
4) Cancer of the Cervix and Uterus.
5)Hereditary.
6)Complications of Abortion.
7) Rhesus factor Incompatibility
8) Hormonal Imbalance
Causes of Infertility in males.
1) Low s***m count.
2) Absence of the both te**es.
3) Infections like Gonorrhea, Syphilis and other Sexually Transmitted Infections.
4) Azoos***mia which means non production of s***m.
There are so many ways to detect Infertility in both male and female in our various hospitals;
1) History taking.
2) Send the man for s***m count.
3) Check if the s*x hormone is present.
4) The woman should go for Endometrial biopsy.
5) The woman should also go for va**na smear.
6) The woman should go for Tubal Insufflation.
