*FREE COUNSELLING SESSION FOR WOMEN.*

International Women’s Day is about showing up for women in real, meaningful ways. In the spirit of Give to Gain, we’re offering FREE counselling sessions for women—a safe space where you can talk openly, breathe freely, and simply be heard without judgment.

Life can get overwhelming, and sometimes all a woman needs is a listening ear, a moment to release, and gentle guidance to move forward. This is our little way of giving back and reminding every woman that she doesn’t have to carry everything alone.

Because sometimes, the greatest gift we can give a woman is support. 💜

YOU’VE HELD ON SO LONG — NOW LET US HOLD YOU. 🫂

Some mornings, the weight feels unbearable.
The endless advocacy that no one sees.
The 3 a.m. fears that steal your breath.
The compassion fatigue that leaves your own heart empty.

The isolation that whispers you’re the only one who truly understands your child’s world — and no one else does.
The burnout, the grief, the quiet ache of loving so fiercely while wondering if you have anything left to give.

You are not invisible.
Your love is not ordinary.
And your pain is not yours to carry alone.

Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation warmly invites you to a tender morning of real connection as part of our Support for Caregivers Initiative (SCGI) — created especially to ease compassion fatigue and honor every hidden challenge you face.

Date: Tuesday, 17 March 2026
Time: 10:00 AM
Venue: Amusement Park Abakaliki

Come weary or hopeful — with your child, your questions, your unspoken tears. We’ll share stories, gentle encouragement, practical resources, and moments of lightness among those who truly get it.
You deserve to be held, too.

With deepest empathy and solidarity,
Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation

DEAR YOUNG MAMA ❤️

Some days, the love feels bigger than you can carry.
The endless night feeds that leave you hollow.
The worry that whispers you're not doing it right.
The loneliness when the world moves on, but you're still in survival mode.
The postpartum fog, the judgment, the fear of asking for help.
The exhaustion that creeps in before you've even caught your breath — because giving everything to your little one leaves so little for yourself.

You are not failing.
Your fatigue is not weakness.
And this tender, overwhelming season is not meant to be walked alone.

Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation invites you — young mothers navigating early motherhood — to a soft, safe morning of real connection as part of our Support for Caregivers Initiative (SCGI). We're here to honor your hidden struggles, ease compassion fatigue, and remind you that support exists right here.

Date: Monday, 16 March 2026
Time: 10:00 AM
Venue: Amike Aba Primary Health Center, Amike ABA Town Hall Street, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

Come as you are — with your baby, your tiredness, your unspoken fears. We'll share stories, gentle encouragement, practical tools, and quiet moments of care among those who truly understand.

Spots are limited and held with love.
You deserve to be held, too, young mama.
With deepest empathy and warmth,
Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation.

We are truly honored and deeply grateful to share exciting news on this International Women's Day. The Co-founder of Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation, Mrs. Uzoamaka Nwachukwu, has been beautifully recognized by HEvolve — one of Nigeria's leading organizations championing men's mental health and redefining positive masculinity.

To be celebrated as a woman who actively supports and uplifts men's mental well-being — truly living the powerful ethos of "Women Healing Men" — fills us with immense humility, pride, and appreciation.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire HEvolve team for this meaningful acknowledgment on a day dedicated to honoring women's contributions in every sphere — including courageous allyship and advocacy in mental health.

Your tireless work continues to inspire real change, break stigmas, and build bridges of understanding.

We are proud to stand alongside you in this shared mission.
Here's to more collaboration, compassion, and healing for all. 💙

International Women's Day, celebrated annually on March 8th, is a powerful global moment to honor women's achievements.

The official campaign theme "Give To Gain" is a call to embrace generosity, collaboration, and reciprocity, which resonates deeply with mental health, an area where women often face disproportionate challenges.

Women worldwide carry heavy burdens: balancing caregiving roles, navigating workplace discrimination, dealing with gender-based violence, societal pressures, and the mental load of daily life.

These factors contribute to higher rates of anxiety, depression, burnout, and other mental health struggles. In many communities, stigma around seeking help compounds the issue, leaving women feeling isolated or unworthy of support.

The "Give To Gain" philosophy reminds us that supporting women's mental health is an act of generous investment—with returns that benefit everyone.

When we give women safe spaces to process emotions, access professional counseling, build resilience, and prioritize self-care, we gain stronger, more empowered individuals who can then support others.

Mental well-being becomes a multiplier: healthier mothers raise healthier children, resilient women lead with empathy in their workplaces and communities, and reduced mental health burdens ease pressure on healthcare systems and families.

In alignment with this theme, the Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation is proud to step forward this month of March with a meaningful initiative.

We are offering free counseling services exclusively to women throughout March 2026. This is our way of embodying "Give To Gain": providing professional, confidential mental health support at no cost, so women in our community (and beyond) can address stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or any other concerns weighing on their minds.

Whether you're a working professional feeling overwhelmed, a mother juggling endless responsibilities, a student facing uncertainty, or simply someone who needs a listening ear—you deserve support.

By giving this resource freely, we aim to remove financial barriers that often prevent women from seeking help, fostering healing that extends far beyond the individual.

This March, let's live the "Give To Gain" spirit together. Reach out if you or a woman you know could benefit from our free counseling sessions.

Book an appointment, share this opportunity, or simply offer encouragement to someone in need. When we give compassion, understanding, and professional care to women's mental health, we all gain—a more empathetic world, stronger relationships, and brighter futures for generations to come.

Happy International Women's Day!

If you're ready to take that step, contact us today—because your well-being is worth investing in. Together, we rise.

WELLNESS IN EVERY STEP: EMPOWERING SENIORS TO SMILE, MOVE, AND THRIVE

On January 24, 2026, the Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation, in partnership with the UNTH Foundation, hosted a transformative Total Care Mind and Body Outreach at the Community Primary School Field in Ameke Ozalla, Enugu State.

Over 100 seniors and retirees (60+) from this rural community accessed free, integrated holistic care in one welcoming space:
* Physiotherapy-inspired gentle exercises and guided movement to boost physical vitality and mental resilience via the powerful mind-body connection
* Free dental screenings and oral health education
* TB screening (with HIV/Syphilis testing) for early detection
* General medical checks
* Mental health counseling on loneliness, dementia awareness, coping strategies, and motivation.

This one-stop model addressed interconnected challenges: inactivity and pain fueling depression; poor oral health leading to withdrawal; comorbidities amplifying distress; and mental health barriers accelerating physical decline.

Why Physiotherapy Matters for Seniors' Mental Health
Evidence shows regular, tailored physical activity significantly reduces symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress—often comparable to therapy or medication for mild-moderate cases. It releases endorphins, improves sleep, lowers cortisol, enhances mood, supports cognitive health, reduces fall risk, and breaks chronic pain cycles.

A 2023 umbrella review in the British Journal of Sports Medicine concluded: "Physical activity is highly beneficial for improving symptoms of depression, anxiety and psychological distress across a very wide range of adult populations."
The WHO (2024) affirms: Regular physical activity reduces symptoms of depression and anxiety, enhances brain health, and improves overall well-being—especially vital for older adults.

Participants left with reduced pain, improved mobility, brighter smiles, renewed confidence, and motivation to sustain healthy habits—fostering community connection and dignity.
This outreach aligns with WHO priorities for integrated, people-centered care promoting healthy aging through movement, social support, and holistic interventions.

Proud to lead this impactful work in Nigeria! If your community could benefit from this scalable model—emphasizing physiotherapy/wellness exercises alongside dental, TB/mental health screening, and more—let's collaborate.
