January 30 is World Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD) Day! NTDs affect more than a billion people worldwide.

If untreated in early stages, NTDs can lead to pain, disfigurement, & even permanent disability. But it is possible to beat NTDs and improve health with treatment, disease monitoring, and support to health systems.

Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) generally affect the world's poorest and historically, have not received as much attention as other diseases. However, they don’t have to be negelected anymore!
