“My names Austin and I was addicted to Xan*x, alcohol, and h3roin. Even before h3roin was considered f3ntanyl. I wasn't supposed to wake up. I've had several relapses. In 2017 I was pretty much brain dead. When I woke up from my coma I swear to you I never thought I would see again. Things were bad. I learned how to walk again and by the next month I relapsed. A year ago I relapsed for probably the 500th time and this time I was alone. I was dragged out of a car and left for dead on the side of the road.
The temperature outside was -4°'s. Today.. well l'm a different human being than you see there in that hospital bed. I turned my life over.”
