Happy New Month and Happy World Breastfeeding Week.



World Breastfeeding Week starts today, 1st to 7th August.


It's a week where we promote exclusive breastfeeding.



Exclusive Breastfeeding is vital to the health of the baby and the mother and it even goes a long way to determine the health condition of the baby tomorrow as an adult.


If a mother fails to do exclusive breastfeeding and starts the baby on a formula, it already exposes the child to non communicable diseases like diabetes and the likes tomorrow.


At Nutrition LIFE we are interested in helping people live a healthy life to avoid obesity and to help diabetics to control their sugar level avoiding complications or even initiating a reversal process.



We want to help reduce diabetes prevalence by 10% in the next decade. One of the ways we adopt to achieve this goal is to educate mothers to do exclusive breastfeeding in order to prevent obesity leading to different health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and the likes.



This year's theme is Closing the gap: Breastfeeding support for all. We will be doing our annual program in Nsukka this year.
