Today 24th/06/2025 State Agency for Control of AIDS from PMs&ESs is attending a 5 days workshop holding in Bauchi at Chartwell Hotel, Bauchi And Dankane Guest Sokoto State
The Society for Family Health Nigeria (SFH), implementer of the USAID-funded CARE2 (Community HIV Action for Response) project, is suppporting the 5-Day Capacity Building Workshop for Community Clinical Service Assistance Points (CCSAPs) In-Charge.
This training is a key initiative under the CARE2 project, which strengthens local HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and support services across ten states in Northern Nigeria, including Yobe, Jigawa, Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Sokoto, Kebbi, Taraba, Kano, and Zamfara.
Aligned with the project's core mission to reduce HIV/AIDS impact through community-led interventions and the UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets, this workshop focuses on empowering CCSAPs to deliver high-quality, client-centered, differentiated HIV services using the hub-and-spoke model. The training emphasizes a non-discriminatory approach, upholding the human rights and dignity of all clients, including Community HIV Services for Action and Response CARE2 Project
The Main AIM of the Workshop is To sensitize Community Clinical service Assistance Points (CCSAPs) staff on providing quality, KP-friendly health services and ensuring proper documentation using M&E data capture tools.
Objectives
1. To Enhance Clinical Service Delivery:
Equip CCSAPs In-Charge with updated, evidence-based clinical recommendations for effectively providing HIV prevention, treatment, care, and support services To community HIV Services for Action and Response CARE2 in Sokoto, Kebbi, and Zamfara states.
2. To Strengthen Operational Efficiency:
Provide CCSAPs with practical guidance on key service delivery and operational strategies to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of HIV care, focusing on improved linkage to care and service integration.
3. To Optimize Programmatic Implementation:
Deliver programmatic guidance to CCSAPs for the effective and coordinated delivery of comprehensive HIV prevention, treatment, care, and support services to the target population within their communities.
