To caregivers, and everyone who has been kind to a warrior, we say a big "thank you."
To the public, please, read about sickle cell disorder, so that you can be enlightened about what it really entails.
Be kind to warriors around you, they are already going through so much more than you think you know.
It cannot be overemphasized that you should stop stigmatization of warriors. Sickle Cell Disorder is not a death sentence.
