The cause is either unknown or a combination of male and female factors in the remaining cases.

Female infertility causes can be difficult to diagnose. There are many available treatments, which will depend on the cause of infertility. Many infertile couples will go on to conceive a child without treatment. After trying to get pregnant for two years, about 95 percent of couples successfully conceive.

The main symptom of infertility is the inability to get pregnant. A menstrual cycle that's too long (35 days or more), too short (less than 21 days), irregular or absent can mean that you're not ovulating.

*Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID)*

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is an infection of the female reproductive organs which occurs when sexually transmitted bacteria spread from your va**na to your uterus, fallopian tubes or ovaries.

Pelvic inflammatory disease often causes no signs or symptoms. As a result, you might not realize you have the condition until it is detected later if you have trouble getting pregnant or if you develop chronic pelvic pain.

PID is know to have caused
*Chronic infertility
*Ectopic pregnancy.

*Symptoms* :
*Severe pain in your lower abdomen and pelvis.
*Heavy va**nal discharge with an unpleasant odor.
*Abnormal uterine bleeding, especially during or after in*******se, or between menstrual cycles.
*Pain or bleeding during in*******se.
*Fever, sometimes with chills.
*Painful or difficult urination.
*Foul va**nal discharge.

Common Causes:
*Bacterial infection.
*Being a sexually active woman younger than 25 years old.
*Multiple sexual partners.
*Douching regularly, which upsets the balance of good versus harmful bacteria in the va**na and might mask symptoms.
*Having a history of pelvic inflammatory disease or a sexually transmitted infection.

*SOLUTION*
The diagnosis of PID is done either by pelvic scan or through HVS where the causative organisms will be isolated and appropriate treatment is given.
The use of antibiotics alone is not sufficient because the frequent or prolong use may lead to development of antimicrobial Resistance- a situation where antibiotic failed to eradicate underlying Infections.

There are 5 main hepatitis viruses, referred to as types A, B, C, D and E. These 5 types are of greatest concern because of the burden of illness and death they cause and the potential for outbreaks and epidemic spread. In particular, types B and C lead to chronic disease in hundreds of millions of people and, together, are the most common cause of liver cirrhosis and cancer.
Hepatitis A and E are typically caused by ingestion of contaminated food or water. Hepatitis B, C and D usually occur as a result of parenteral contact with infected body fluids. Common modes of transmission for these viruses include receipt of contaminated blood or blood products, invasive medical procedures using contaminated equipment and for hepatitis B transmission from mother to baby at birth, from family member to child, and also by sexual contact.
