Let me tell you a short story about myself 👇
I have always wanted to become a medical doctor, from primary through secondary school. In fact, I dreamt so much about this becoming reality.
After secondary school, my dream shifted from becoming a medical doctor to studying geography. I applied to study Geography at the University but was denied admission because they said they already had their full quota of students for that session. The Department of Psychology offered me admission instead, and I planned to take Geography courses and transfer in my 2nd year.
But you know what they say about God's will (I strongly believe in God's will for my life).
I began to fall in love with psychology and often asked myself why I had wanted to study geography in the first place. To God be the glory, I didn't switch - I stayed with psychology, my new love.
Since I couldn't become a medical doctor, working in a field close to it made sense, right? After all, we are all in the profession of helping and healing people.
