Have you ever had your heart broken?😭😭😭
Not the "Yehh!! I'm watching an interesting movie and NEPA took light" kind of heart break...but REAL HEART BREAK....
Well... I have and I must admit...I am terrible emotional eater😪😪😪
And though I'm not so proud of it...I know it's something we all struggle with in one way or the other...🥺🥺🥺
A relationship ended?😓....go to KFC and wipe my 'cries' with some fries🍟🍟🍟...
Failed an exam?😥....drown my sorrows in a bucket of icecream🍨🍨🍨
Simply stressed at work or by life?😩...Eat 5 pounds of cake and lick the icing like silly🧁🧁🧁
Angry, bored, anxious, exhausted, worried???😣 Literally eat till you drop🥴🥴🥴
The truth is we all have the tendency to run to food for COMFORT or RELIEF...🙄
Emotional eating is simply using food to make yourself feel better—to fill emotional needs, rather than your stomach😬😬.
Unfortunately, emotional eating doesn’t fix emotional problems❌❌❌.
In fact, it usually makes you feel worse☹️☹️☹️.
Afterward, not only does the original emotional issue remain, but you also feel guilty for overeating🙍🙍🙍.
So, what's the point???🤷🤷🤷
You still lose on both ends 🥴🥴
So in all, it's usually not worth it...
Why not just man or woman up as the case may be and face the issue and get it fixed...👩🔧👩🔧👩🔧
If not... distract yourself with other productive things that you love...and get over it...😟
It's not easy..I know...😕but it's possible 👌👌...It is possible to make a positive change.
You can learn healthier ways to deal with your emotions, avoid triggers, conquer cravings, and finally put a stop to emotional eating🤗.
Tell yourself, FOOD WILL NO LONGER HAVE POWER OVER ME... I'M THE BOSS HERE!!💪💪💪
