Not the "Yehh!! I'm watching an interesting movie and NEPA took light" kind of heart break...but REAL HEART BREAK....
Well... I have and I must admit...I am terrible emotional eater😪😪😪
And though I'm not so proud of it...I know it's something we all struggle with in one way or the other...🥺🥺🥺
A relationship ended?😓....go to KFC and wipe my 'cries' with some fries🍟🍟🍟...
Failed an exam?😥....drown my sorrows in a bucket of icecream🍨🍨🍨
Simply stressed at work or by life?😩...Eat 5 pounds of cake and lick the icing like silly🧁🧁🧁
Angry, bored, anxious, exhausted, worried???😣 Literally eat till you drop🥴🥴🥴
The truth is we all have the tendency to run to food for COMFORT or RELIEF...🙄
Emotional eating is simply using food to make yourself feel better—to fill emotional needs, rather than your stomach😬😬.
Unfortunately, emotional eating doesn’t fix emotional problems❌❌❌.
In fact, it usually makes you feel worse☹️☹️☹️.
Afterward, not only does the original emotional issue remain, but you also feel guilty for overeating🙍🙍🙍.
So, what's the point???🤷🤷🤷
You still lose on both ends 🥴🥴
So in all, it's usually not worth it...
Why not just man or woman up as the case may be and face the issue and get it fixed...👩‍🔧👩‍🔧👩‍🔧
If not... distract yourself with other productive things that you love...and get over it...😟
It's not easy..I know...😕but it's possible 👌👌...It is possible to make a positive change.

Body types🏋️🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♂️ are also known as somatotypes and they refer to the three generalized body compositions that people are predetermined to have.
It is very important for us to know our body types because does it affect our diet and attempt to lose weight?
It is important to first of all know the most basic thing about body composition👌👌👌.
That our bodies are made up of 60% water💦💦💦. The rest is muscle💪 and fat🥓. Let’s not go into the scientific details of the cells, tissues and organs.
Let’s just reach a common ground that it’s basically water, muscle and fat.
So we all have that equal percentage of water💧💧💧. Now, what’s sets each of us apart is the variation in muscle and fat. Women👧 obviously have more fat than men👨, and men on the other hand, tend to have more muscle bulk💪💪💪.
So, the varying amounts of fat and muscle is where the ‘body types’ phenomenon comes in and it primarily due to genetics.
Basically, there are 3 main body types. This classification was done by a man named Herbert Sheldon in the 1940s. And they include:

👗Ectomorphs (a.k.a. 'Lepa-shandiis')

👗Mesomorphs (a.k.a. 'Lucky genes')
and

👗Endomorphs (a.k.a. 'Orobo-machine gun😜)
👩An ECTOMORPH is your typical ‘thin’ lady. They have long, slim and thin limbs🦵🦵🦵, small muscles and find it difficult to build muscle mass.
They are naturally thin and have trouble gaining weight. They are typically those slim girls that can eat a whole ‘mountain’ of food and still be as tiny as a broom😠😠😠 (i.e. ‘hard gainers’).

🧑 Mesomorphs are the medium-framed women. They naturally have a strong and fit appearance even if they don’t exercise regularly.
They are those I’ll refer to as lucky and blessed with good genes!🤩 They seldom experience significant weight gain.

👩‍🦱 ENDOMORPHS A.k.a.The curvy ladies club😋. They are typically full-bodied👗👗👗, have larger bones, wider waists and are predisposed to storing fat instead of building muscle.
They gain weight easily and tend to lose it slowly.

One of the common questions my clients ask me is when is the best time to eat lunch?🤔🤔🤔

The KEY is to not let yourself get too hungry so that you don't settle for unhealthy food choices.
Also, if you wait till you're starving, there's a tendency for you to overeat, as you will be justifying your larger portions with the fact that you've not eaten since morning.🥴🥴🥴
Set yourself up for mealtime success with these tips because eating your meals at regular intervals throughout the day can help you manage dramatic hunger pangs and mood swings👌👌👌
So for......

BREAKFAST🥪: It's all about breaking the “fast” of a night without eating. It also sets the stage for your nutrition for the entire day and gives you the energy you need to face what the day brings.
Starting the day on an empty stomach can leave you feeling drained and reaching for a candy jar or bag of chips by mid-morning.
Coffee☕, tea🍵 or a healthy beverage is usually good enough too.
But not nothing ❌❌❌

LUNCH🍛: Lunch should be about four to five hours after breakfast. For example, if you ate breakfast at 7 am, eat lunch between 11 am and noon. If it is not possible for you to eat lunch until 2 pm on a particular day, then plan a snack🥕 in between those two meals.
But ensure that the snack is healthy and includes a mix of protein and carbohydrates.

DINNER🍱: Many people tend to overeat at dinner because they have not eaten enough throughout the day. Dinnertime🍱 should follow the same schedule as your earlier meals, making sure there is no more than a four- to five-hour window between lunch and dinner. Also no meal should exceed 10pm as this will affect the quality of your sleep 😴😴😴

And the truth is every act of eyeballing👀👀👀 adds an extra cm📏📏 to your waistline...
And accumulation of cms will lead to inches📏📏 📏📏📏and inches will lead to folds😬😬 And folds will lead to.......Ouuucchhh!!!🤐........we don't even want to go down that route...😩😩😩😩
Truthfully it's not easy...it takes WORK😑 to bring out your kitchen scale or cups and actually measure out food...but on the long run, it's for your own good🥰🥰🥰.
So how do you stop eyeballing foods?
🏵️Measure out specific portion sizes👌👌
🏵️Let a level teaspoon actually be LEVEL...not Mount Kilimanjaro teaspoon🙄🙄🙄🙄
🏵️Use food measuring cups and spoons🥄🥄🥄
🏵️Use a kitchen scale
🏵️Stop adding that extra 'Jara' for the 'babies' 🙄🙄🙄 (if you know,you know..😋) when measuring a cup of rice or any other food
And with that, we can definitely win this Weight War together 💪💪💪
So start tonight...by measuring only a cup..and I mean 1 CUP😬😬😬 of rice...
