As we look back at 2025, The Global Fund Results Report reminds us of the impact of our partnership: 70 million lives saved since 2002 and a 63% drop in deaths from AIDS, TB and malaria in countries where the Global Fund invests.

The report highlights important gains across all three diseases, while also sounding a clear warning: Declining international funding is putting these gains – and global health security – at risk.

IFO LGA Integrated Outreach β€” A Big Success!
The OGSACA-led outreach at Ijoko Community, IFO LGA was a remarkable display of teamwork and effective service delivery. The Damien Foundation team who provide support for the outreach was well represented by Mr. Daud Lawal (Cascade Monitor) and Mrs. Ann Arawomo (Sample Movement Consultant), working closely with APIN, LACA, CVs, CTHWs, MMs and PHC staff.

Highlights from the outreach:

HIV Testing : CV, MMs and APIN testers tested 104 individuals, including 10 pregnant women β€” all negative.
TB Screening: 114 community members screened using PDX and symptomatic screening.

Malaria Testing : Attendees were also screened for malaria using RDT kits.

General Health Checks : Blood Sugar and BP checks conducted by the PHC IFO DOTA Officer.

Drug Support : The LACA Manager, Mrs. Gbadamosi, boosted the outreach with essential drugs such as Well Woman, Pregnancy Care, Metizan, Fesolate, B-complex, condoms, lubricants, Paracetamol, and others.
Today’s outreach clearly showed that integration of TB, HIV, and Malaria services is achievable and impactful when partners unite towards a common goal.
IFO LGA set a great example β€” integration works!
