Redemption Holding Co. has officially acquired Holladay Bank & Trust in Utah—making it the first Black-owned bank in the region and the first in U.S. history located outside an economically distressed community.

Now known as Redemption Bank, the institution joins a small but powerful list of Minority Depository Institutions, with leaders like Bernice A. King helping guide its mission.
