Sha‘ban is the month between Rajab and Ramadan, often overlooked by people. Usamah ibn Zayd رضي الله عنه asked why the Prophet ﷺ fasted more in Sha‘ban than in other months, and he replied that it is a neglected month in which deeds are raised to Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said he loved for his deeds to be raised while he was fasting. (Reported by al-Nasa’i; graded hasan by scholars)

Local media reports say that Nasser bin Raddan Al-Rashid Al-Wadaei passed away at the reported age of 142 in Saudi Arabia. Funeral prayers were held in the Kingdom’s southern region, followed by his burial in his ancestral village of Al-Rashid.

Reports claim more than 7,000 people attended the funeral. Family sources say he performed Hajj over 40 times and was known for his deep religious devotion.

It is also reported that he married at the age of 110 and had a large family, including children and grandchildren. His story has gone viral, with many calling him a symbol of faith and patience.

A 78-year-old man was admitted to a private Saudi hospital after collapsing from fatigue. He was placed on oxygen for 24 hours, and Alhamdulillah, he recovered soon after.

When the doctor 👨⚕️ handed him a bill of SR 2,000, the man began to cry. The doctor gently said, “Please don’t cry, I’ll pay the bill myself.”

The elderly man replied,
“I’m not crying because of the bill — I can afford it.
I’m crying because I just realized that I’ve been breathing Allah’s air for 78 years, and I never paid a single riyal.
If 24 hours of oxygen costs SR 2,000, then how much do I owe Allah for a lifetime of His blessings?”

The doctor lowered his head in tears
