BEETROOT
Beets are often used in salads, soups, smoothies, and preserves. It is even used as a natural dye. Beets provide vitamins, minerals and biological compounds necessary for everyday life. Since it is low in calories and does not contain cholesterol, it is a good alternative to cakes and sugary foods.
1- it improves the health of the heart
The fiber in beets helps lower negative cholesterol and triglycerides while increasing the good cholesterol in the body. This reduces the risk of suffering from heart problems. Betaine in beets helps lower levels of homocysteine, a chemical that is harmful to blood vessels. This is why if you consume this vegetable, you will prevent many cardiovascular diseases such as atherosclerosis, heart attacks and strokes.
2- it prevents certain types of cancer
Beetroot helps prevent cancer of the skin, lungs and colon: this root contains a pigment, called betacyanin, capable of slowing down the growth of cancer cells. Nitrates used as preservatives in some meats can stimulate the production of nitrosamine compounds in your body. This puts you at risk for cancer.
3- it strengthens the immune system
Beets are a very rich source of vitamin C. This vitamin is a great help in preventing asthma symptoms and is a powerful antioxidant. Beets therefore help stimulate the immune system and improve the activity of white blood cells.
4 - it avoids sight problems
The beta-carotene in beets helps prevent blindness associated with macular damage and reduces the chances of developing cataracts. Although both of these problems are very common in old age, don't be discouraged until you've tried beetroot! In addition to following your doctor's directions, drink the following juice at least once a week.
5 - it has aphrodisiac properties
Consuming beets works as a s*xual booster or aphrodisiac. This effect is attributed to a high level of boron, a component that has been shown to be effective in increasing s*x hormones. It therefore helps you to: increase libido; optimize fertility; improve s***m mobility. Now you know it: if you are looking to get pregnant and can't get it, try consuming beets more often.
6- it increases energy
Beets contain a considerable amount of carbohydrates which provide healthy calories for the body. When the body receives the right amount of carbohydrates, it is able to support all of the functions needed to work properly. On days when you need more energy, you should consider consuming this root instead of energy drinks or processed foods.
How to consume
Ingredients: 1 orange for its juice, 1 beet, 2 carrots
Preparation:
Put all the ingredients in your blender.
Mix everything until you get a smooth juice.
Consume immediately to avoid loss of properties.
