Good day Everyone, today *14th November, 2019* is *WORLD Diabetes Day* . The theme for the November diabetes awareness month and World Diabetes Day is *Diabetes and the Family.*
The aim is to create Awareness on the Impact Diabetes has on the Family focusing on the risk factors for Type 2 diabetes mellitus and supporting the family of those affected to reduce risk of complications and death by promoting the role of family in the management, care, Prevention and Education on Diabetes.
You have a role to play in driving the success of the campaign as you interact with people daily. There are 13 ways to help prevent Diabetes:
1. Cut down Sugar and Carbohydrate carbs from your diet.
2. Perform Physical Activity/Exercises on a regular basis.
3. Drink Lots of Water as your primary Beverage.
4. Lose Weight because visceral fat promotes insulin resistance and inflammation.
5. Watch portion sizes, avoid eating too much at one time
6. Eat Low Carbs diets:
7. Avoid Sedentary behaviours like excessive sitting: Get up and take a walk from your desk for 3minutes every hour.
8. Eat a High Fibre Diet from a good source
9. Quit Smoking and avoid exposure to second hand smoke
10. Optimise Vitamin D levels which is important for blood sugar control by sun exposure, taking Cod Liver oil and natural supplements.
11. Reduce intake of Processed packaged Foods which are high in oil, additives and preservatives.
12. Drink Coffee, Lipton or Green tea regularly: Coffee and tea have antioxidants called Polyphenols that protect against Diabetes. Green tea contains a unique antioxidant called Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) which reduces blood sugar release from the liver and increases Insulin sensitivity.
13. Use Natural Spices like Garlic and Tumeric for Cooking: studies have shown that Curcumicin, a component of tumeric one of the main ingredients in Curry has very strong antiinflammatory properties, reduce Insulin resistance and risk of Diabetes Progression.

VAGINAL ITCHING Contd

3. Skin diseases: Some skin diseases, such as eczema and psoriasis, can cause redness and itching in the ge***al region. Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is a rash that primarily occurs in people with asthma or allergies. The rash is reddish and itchy with a scaly texture. It may spread to the va**na in some women with eczema.

4. Yeast infection: Yeast is a naturally occurring fungus that’s normally present in the va**na. It usually doesn’t cause problems, but when its growth goes unchecked, an uncomfortable infection can result. This infection is known as a va**nal yeast infection. It’s a very common condition, affecting 3 out of 4 women at some point in their lives, according to the Mayo Clinic. The infection often occurs after taking a course of antibiotics, as these types of medications can destroy good bacteria along with the bad bacteria. The good bacteria are needed to keep yeast growth in check. The overgrowth of yeast in the va**na can result in uncomfortable symptoms, including itching, burning, and lumpy discharge.

5. Bacterial vaginosis: Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is another common reason for va**nal itching. Like a va**nal yeast infection, BV is triggered by an imbalance between naturally occurring good and bad bacteria in the va**na. The condition doesn’t always cause symptoms. When symptoms do appear, they typically include va**nal itching and an abnormal, foul-smelling discharge.

6. Sexually transmitted diseases

Numerous STDs can be transmitted during unprotected s*xual in*******se and cause itching in the va**na. These include:

· chlamydia

· ge***al warts

· gonorrhea

· ge***al herpes

· trichomoniasis

7.Menopause

Women who are going through menopause or who have already done so are more at risk for va**nal itching. This is due to the reduction of estrogen levels that occur during menopause, which leads to va**nal atrophy.

Theme : Vaginal Itching, A COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE!

1. Vaginal itching is fairly common among women of all age groups.

2. This is an uncomfortable and sometimes painful symptom.

3. This often occurs due to irritating substances, infections, or menopause.

4. This may also occur as a result of certain skin disorders or s*xually transmitted diseases (STDs).

5. In rare cases, va**nal itching might develop due to stress or vulvar cancer.

6. Also some antibiotics might have the adverse effect of clearing the protective good bacteria in the va**na, leading to overgrowth of bad bacteria, which can lead to itching.

7. Most va**nal itching isn’t a cause for concern.

8. However, you should contact your doctor or gynecologist if the itching is severe or if you suspect you have an underlying condition.

9. Basically, your doctor can determine the cause of your va**nal itching through an examination and testing.

10. They’ll also be able to recommend appropriate treatments for this uncomfortable symptom

1. Irritants: Exposing the va**na to irritating chemicals can cause va**nal itching. These irritants may trigger an allergic reaction that creates an itchy rash over various areas of the body, including the va**na. Common chemical irritants include:

· soap

· bubble baths

· feminine sprays

· douches

· topical contraceptives

· creams

· ointments

· detergents

· fabric softeners

· scented toilet paper

2. Disease condition: If you have diabetes or urinary incontinence, your urine may also cause va**nal irritation and itching.

VAGINAL CONDITIONS

1. Vaginal discharge is normal.

2. Wearing panty liners 24/7 is not necessary.

3. Vaginas are acidic enough to bleach fabric, hence the discoloration of underwear.

4. Longer labias are more normal than smaller ones (but both are fine).

5. A mans s***m can throw off your PH balance and also change the smell of your va**na.

6. It is not safe for va**nas to smell like sunshine and flowers so quit expecting it to.

7. Stop douching and washing your va**na with bath&body works, and Victoria secret. They are not healthy for the va**na.

8. The va**na cleans itself you should know that.

9. Having s*x has no correlation of how "tight" your va**na is.

10. Yeast infections are common but treat it immediately.

11. The best thing you can do for your va**na is to leave it alone.

12. If your va**na stinks or your discharge stink and has a color than go see a gynecologist and stop trying to blame cause you stink.

13. Let your va**na breathe.

14. The va**na is the narrow canal that runs inside the body, not the whole ge***al area.
Do not use soap in your va**na.

15. Always urinate after s*x to rinse the urinary tract of fluids that could be caught there and can cause UTIs.

16. Drink water.

17. Invest in cotton panties ladies. Wearing silk, satin and lace seven days a week will throw your PH levels off.

18. Stop sprinkling powder on your lady bits, stop immediately! Talcum causes cancer. Stop it!

19. Also the va**na is a natural s***m killer, except when you’re ovulating with the exception of a very high ph level.

Avoid Laparoscopy if u trying to have children.

What is laparoscopy?

Laparoscopy is a way of doing surgery using small incisions (cuts). It is different from “open” surgery where the incision on the skin can be several inches long. Laparoscopic surgery sometimes is called "minimally invasive surgery."

How is laparoscopic surgery done?

Laparoscopic surgery uses a special instrument called the laparoscope. The laparoscope is a long, slender device that is inserted into the abdomen through a small incision. It has a camera attached to it that allows the obstetrician–gynecologist (ob-gyn) to view the abdominal and pelvic organs on an electronic screen. If a problem needs to be fixed, other instruments can be used. These instruments usually are inserted through additional small incisions in the abdomen. They sometimes can be inserted through the same single incision made for the laparoscope. This type of laparoscopy is called “single-site” laparoscopy.

What are the benefits of laparoscopy?

Laparoscopy has many benefits. There is less pain after laparoscopic surgery than after open abdominal surgery, which involves larger incisions, longer hospital stays, and longer recovery times. Recovery from laparoscopic surgery generally is faster than recovery from open abdominal surgery. The smaller incisions that are used allow you to heal faster and have smaller scars. The risk of infection also is lower than with open surgery.

What are the risks associated with laparoscopy?

Laparoscopy can take longer to perform than open surgery. The longer time under anesthesia may increase the risk of complications. Sometimes complications do not appear right away but occur a few days to a few weeks after surgery. Problems that can occur with laparoscopy include the following:

Bleeding or a hernia (a bulge caused by poor healing) at the incision sites

Internal bleeding

Infection

Damage to a blood vessel or other organ, such as the stomach, bowel, bladder, or ureters

OVARIAN CYST are fluid-filled sacs or pockets in an o***y or on its surface. Women have two ovaries — each about the size and shape of an almond — on each side of the uterus. Eggs (ova), which develop and mature in the ovaries, are released in monthly cycles during the childbearing years. Many women have ovarian cysts at some time. Most ovarian cysts present little or no discomfort and are harmless. The majority disappears without treatment within a few months.

However, ovarian cysts — especially those that have ruptured — can cause serious symptoms. To protect your health, get regular pelvic exams and know the symptoms that can signal a potentially serious problem.

*Symptoms*

Most cysts don't cause symptoms and go away on their own. However, a large ovarian cyst can cause:

Pelvic pain — a dull or sharp ache in the lower abdomen on the side of the cystFullness or heaviness in your abdomenBloating

When to see a doctor

Seek immediate medical attention if you have:

Sudden, severe abdominal or pelvic painPain with fever or vomiting

If you have these signs and symptoms or those of shock — cold, clammy skin; rapid breathing; and lightheadedness or weakness — see a doctor right away.

*Causes*

Most ovarian cysts develop as a result of your menstrual cycle (functional cysts). Other types of cysts are much less common.

Functional cysts

Your ovaries normally grow cyst-like structures called follicles each month. Follicles produce the hormones estrogen and progesterone and release an egg when you ovulate.

If a normal monthly follicle keeps growing, it's known as a functional cyst. There are two types of functional cysts:

Follicular cyst. Around the midpoint of your menstrual cycle, an egg bursts out of its follicle and travels down the fallopian tube. A follicular cyst begins when the follicle doesn't rupture or release its egg, but continues to grow.Corpus luteum cyst. When a follicle releases its egg, it begins producing estrogen and progesterone for conceptio

*HORMONAL BALANCE*

Hormonal balance is essential for proper egg health. Due to environmental factors, stress, and modern diets, more and more women are becoming hormonally imbalanced. If hormonal balance is off, the eggs may not respond, the fertility cycle gets out of balance, and ovulation may not occur. An intricate hormonal symphony is at play every month in preparation and fulfilment of the fertility cycle. But there is good news; balancing your hormones is possible.

C. NUTRITION

During this window of opportunity, what you are eating can also impact the health of your ovaries and eggs either positively or negatively. It’s up to you. The types of nutrients your eggs depend on are found in a diet dense in nutrition.

Top foods for egg health:
• Royal Jelly ,Maca , FertiliGreens ,Broccoli,Berries,Dark leafy veggies
• Halibut,Salmon,Pumpkin seeds,Sesame seeds,Turmeric,Ginger

Dietary and lifestyle habits that may damage egg health
• Ci******es, Caffeine, Alcohol, Sugar, Non-organic meats and dairy, Soda, Low fat diet
• Processed Foods, Trans Fats, GMO Foods

SUPPLEMENTS

Take a Multivitamin

A major key to supporting egg health and preparing the uterine lining is to take a preconception-specific or prenatal multivitamin. Making sure your body has all of the nutrients necessary is a lot easier when you are taking a multivitamin.

Antioxidants

Antioxidants are one of the most important components to having healthy fertility that every woman needs to focus on, especially if you are wanting to support your egg health. Antioxidants help to protect the eggs from free radical damage. Free radicals are able to damage cellular health including the cell’s DNA, this could have an effect on the ability to get pregnant, sustain a healthy pregnancy and may increase the chances of possible birth defects. The o**m (egg) is one of the longest living cells in your body; as the years pass your eggs become exposed and vulnerable to free radicals on a daily basis.
