Are you a mother with a baby/babies of age range 6 months to 5 years?
Read how a mother of quadruplets fed her babies with organic cereals and now turned it into a business of helping mothers with meals (cereals) for their children from 6 months to five years old, for total and healthy growth.
I'm Hidayah Balogun.
I am a Microbiologist, Child nutritionist and a Public health specialist. I work as the child nutrition consultant and recipe formulator at Quads Organics Nigeria, a company which aims to improve the nutritional value of the African child's meals one bowl at a time.
Quads Organics started with the need to feed my quadruplets nutrient-rich meals as they were born at very low birth weights and their survival was largely dependent on the quality of the food available to them.
In 2017, I was an unemployed, first time mum of four babies, I was mostly stressed and wasn't sure where life was taking me.
I noticed my babies ate large volumes of canned cereals and I just couldn't stop wondering how much chemical preservatives they were eating daily so I decided to start trying out meals at home from food ingredients around me, I combined food ingredients based on the nutrient availability of each ingredient and made sure to retain nutrients as I prepared each ingredient. My babies added a tremendous amount of weight and got taller than their peers, most people that saw them asked why they were not yet in school.
I shared my progress online and started to teach other mums to do the same with their children.
This led to the production and distribution of our present food products which are NAFDAC CERTIFIED, biofortified, instant cereals (no need to cook, just add hot water and mix), devoid of preservatives, chemicals and added sugar.
All variants of cereals at Quads Organics Nig. are made from real food, we offer you an opportunity to feed your baby homemade food without the stress of going to the kitchen to combine and blend food ingredients together.
I also offer child nutrition consulting services online and offline.
Cheers to raising a healthy generation, one food bowl at a time.
