Day 5 of my Gratitude Challenge

Today, I am deeply thankful for the gift of life. I am thankful for a new year, for God’s mercies, and for His help. 🙏

I am grateful for the many times life could have overwhelmed me, yet God pulled me through and set my feet on solid rock. I remember my school years, when illness kept me out of class for long periods — like when I battled advanced pneumonia in Primary 2, or stepped into a steaming bowl of blanched vegetables in Grade 3. I missed months of school, yet God healed me and carried me through.

Even with these challenges, I continued to learn, grow, and do well academically. Some classmates didn’t even know me until the third term of GSS1, because I had been in and out due to illness. These experiences continued into adulthood, yet God always restored me to health and wholeness.

Today, I pause to reflect and say: Lord, I give You praise. Lord, I say thank You. For every time I could have been lost, but Your grace saved me, healed me, and brought me back — I am eternally grateful. 💛
Happy birthday to me.
