✍️TIPS TO STAY HEALTHY👍 DURING PREGNANCY🤰👩‍👦

1. Eat A Healthy Diet🍒🍌🍏🍉🍅
Eating a healthy food is important for pregnant women. Your baby needs nutrients to grow healthy and strong in the womb. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.

2. Do not take any drugs aside from the ones prescribed to you by your doctor.

3. If you have any complain please see your doctor. Do not take any drugs on your own.

4. Stay Hydrated🥛
Women's body needs more water than it did before pregnancy.

5. Always Remember To Go For Your Prenatal Checkup🕵️
Some pregnant women don't always see it relevant to go for checkup. Please always get regular prenatal care from your doctor or a health worker for the sake of the unborn child.

6. Exercise⛹️🏋️
This really helps a lot of pregnant women during labor. When I say exercise doesn't mean you should involve yourself in strenuous exercise. Just a walk is okay.

7. Get Enough Sleep😴
Enough sleep is important for you and your baby. Try to sleep on your left side to improve blood flow.

8. Reduce Stress😪
A pregnant woman should avoid stressful situations. physically, emotionally, and psychologically.

9. Do Not Smoke🤒
Smoking is unhealthy for you and your unborn child. It increases the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), premature birth, miscarriage and other poor outcomes.

10. Do as your doctor says. Any test your doctor tells you to do, DO IT. Do not ignore any test. It's for the good of you and your unborn child.

11. Always remember that anything (water, food etc.) you take in to your body, your child also takes part of it. So you must eat enough food so that you'll have strength.

12. Do not adhere to any advice given to you by any other person that is not a doctor or a health worker.

HYPERTENSION❤️💊🌡️✍️

Hypertension also known as high blood pressure. It is a condition in which the blood vessels have persistently raised pressure. Blood is carried from the heart to all parts of the body. Each time the heart beats, it pumps blood into the vessels.
Blood pressure is measured using two numbers:
The First Number, called systolic blood pressure, measures the pressure in your arteries when your heart beats.
The Second Number, called diastolic blood pressure, measures the pressure in your arteries when your heart rests between beats.

If the measurement reads 120 systolic and 80 diastolic, you would say, “120 over 80,” or write, “120/80 mmHg.”

The normal range for blood pressure is 120/80 mmHg. If your BP is above the normal range please see your doctor.

CAUSES OF HYPERTENSION
1. Too much salt
2. Smoke (e.g ci******es, tobaccos etc)
3. Not getting enough sleep or have disturbed sleep.
4. Age (over 65yrs)
5. Not exercising your body
6. Overweight
7. Depression
8. Fear
9. Over thinking

SYMPTOMS
The signs to know that your BP is getting high;
1. Blurry or double vision
2. Headache
3. Fatigue (tiredness)
4. Shortness of breath

PREVENTION
1. Eat A Healthy Diet🍎🍌🥦
Be sure to eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.
2. Be Physically Active⛹️🏋️
Physical exercise can keep you at a healthy weight and lower your BP.
3. Do Not Smoke🤒
Smoking raises your BP and puts you at higher risk for heart attack and stroke.
If you've been smoking please try to stop it.
4. Get Enough Sleep🛌
Sleep is important to your overall health and is part of keeping your heart and blood vessels healthy. Sleep where you know you won't be or get distracted or disturbed.
5. Limit how much alcohol you drink🍾.

How To Get Rid Of Body Odour With Just Five (5) Steps:
Follow these steps and thank me later 😉✌️

1. Constant drinking of water. This helps to flush the toxins.

2. Taking your bath at least twice a day is hygienic and will help fight excessive sweating and get rid of the offensive odour.

3. Avoid fabrics that are likely to create irritation and heat up the skin, causing excessive sweating.

4. Use lime to wash your armpit after shaving. Lime helps you reduce sweating, prevent body odour and lot more. You could rub one half of a lime (not too ripe) on your armpits. You may feel mild irritation. However, if you are suffering from rashes, avoid using lime.

5. Use a good perfume or roll-on. (Do not share your roll-on 🙎👈)

Remember to always have your bath after the day stress. Don't be too tired to wash your sweat from your body (armpit, va**na etc.)

THE BRAIN 🧠

The brain is the central control module of the body and coordinates activities. From physical motions, secretion of hormones(hypothalamus), the creation of memories and sensation of emotion.

Ways to improve the brain:

1. Try a new activity
Exercise your brain by trying a new activity. It could be learning to play an instrument, figure out a puzzle, infact you can even make it compulsory to know like 4 people's phone numbers by heart, ask yourself some questions about the things you've studied or read.

2. Feed you brain with healthy nutritious food that stimulates brain function. Some good ones include: fruits, vegetable, fish, nuts, proteins from plants source, and unsaturated oils (olive oil).

3. Physical activities
This is very good for your body and mind as it can increase oxygen flow as well as the growth of new nerves cells and connections or synapse, between brain cells.

4. Sleep well
During sleep, your brain works overtime to repair itself, so don't skip it.

5. Manage Your Blood Pressure
Having high blood pressure can lead to cognitive decline as well as heart problems.

6. Manage Your Blood Sugar
Diabetes is a risk factor for dementia. So eat right, exercise and maintain a healthy weight. If you have high blood sugar, follow your doctor's recommendation to keep it under control.

7. Limit Alcohol
Excessive alcohol use is a major risk factor for dementia.

8. Protect Your Head
Head injuries increase the risk of impaired brain function. Avoid falls, wear a helmet when riding a bike etc.

9. Manage Stress
Excessive worrying and stress can lower performance on cognitive tests. Try meditation, take a walk or listen to music to relax and clear your head.

If not all at least try to follow 90% of these ways to improve your brain health because the brain is the source of all the qualities that designs our humanity.
