WHO CAN STUDY NURSING?

A lot of people think Nursing is only for “very intelligent” people or only for women, but that’s not true.

So, who can study Nursing?

✅ Anyone with passion to care for others
If you genuinely care about people’s health and well being, you already have the foundation.

✅ Science students
You need a background in subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to understand the human body and medical care.

✅ Emotionally strong individuals
Nursing involves real life situations, pain, emergencies, recovery. You must be able to stay calm and supportive.

✅ Good communicators
You’ll interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams every day.

✅ Disciplined and hardworking people
Nursing is not “easy.” It requires dedication, long hours of study, and clinical practice.

✅ Both MALES and FEMALES
Yes! Nursing is for everyone. Compassion has no gender

A baby born with just one eye in the center of the forehead, this rare condition is called CYCLOPIA

Pregnancy is usually filled with hope, joy, and dreams about the future. But sometimes, very rare developmental conditions can occur, one of them is Cyclopia.

Cyclopia is an extremely rare congenital condition where a baby is born with one single eye or partially fused eyes in the center of the forehead.

Why does this happen?

It occurs due to a severe brain development disorder called Holoprosencephaly. In early pregnancy, the baby’s brain is supposed to divide into two hemispheres. When this separation does not happen properly, it affects both brain and facial development.

It may also be associated with:

1. Genetic or chromosomal abnorma1ities

2. Poorly controlled maternal diabetes

2. Exposure to harmfu1 substances during pregnancy

Sàdly, this condition is not compatible with long term survival. Most affected babies are either stillborn or pàss awày shortly after birth.

Why is this important to talk about?
Because it reminds us:

1. Early antenatal booking matters
2. Routine ultrasound scans are important
2. Preconception and maternal health care can make a difference

As nurses and healthcare professionals, we don’t just treat, we educate, support, and create awareness.
Every healthy pregnancy begins with informed care.
