The Human Heart (The Engine of Life)
Have you ever paused to feel that gentle thump in your chest? That’s not just a beat, it’s life itself.
The human heart is a powerful muscular organ, about the size of your fist, sitting right in the center of your chest. It works tirelessly, over 100,000 times every single day, to pump blood filled with oxygen and nutrients to every part of your body.
It has four chambers: two atria (upper) and two ventricles (lower).
It sends oxygen rich blood through arteries and receives oxygen poor blood through veins.
It beats in perfect rhythm, guided by electrical impulses that remind us how beautifully we’re designed.
But beyond anatomy, the heart teaches us something deeper, to keep going, no matter what.
Even when broken, it learns to heal. Even when tired, it keeps beating.
So today, take a moment to appreciate your heart, not just the one in your chest, but also the one that keeps you caring, loving, and showing compassion as a human.
