The tiny, silent but deadly enemy called "MOULD".
Do you know this thing called "MOULD" could be the cause of the recurrent respiratory distress in your home?

Moulds grow where there is moisture.
Symptoms of mould exposure can include:
1. Nasal and sinus congestion, runny nose
2. Respiratory problems, such as wheezing and difficulty breathing, chest tightness
3. Cough
4. Throat irritation
5. Sneezing
Tips to managing moulds in your home
1. Increase ventilation (running a fan or opening a window).
2. Cleaning more frequently will usually prevent mold from recurring, or at least keep the mold to a minimum
3. Fix plumbing leaks and other water problems as soon as possible.
4. Dry all items completely.
5. Scrub mold off hard surfaces with detergent and water, and dry completely.
6. Repaint the walls but;
N.B: Do not paint or caulk moldy surfaces. Clean up the mold and dry the surfaces before painting. Paint applied over moldy surfaces is likely to peel.
PRECAUTIONS
While cleaning molds ensure you take necessary precautions like:
Wearing of gloves and nose mask to prevent inhaling the moulds or the spore it emits.
Secondly, if you are looking to getting a new apartment, include water leakage and mould formations as a factors to lookout for.
