Glasses are cool🤩😎
If a very young child needs glasses and you, dear parent, don’t take them to the eye doctors to get them the glasses, or they get it and you don’t allow them to wear it, their vision may not develop properly.
The area of their brain that controls vision will not get the sharp images it needs to form properly. That causes a problem called amblyopia.
Amblyopia is reversible when children are young, but becomes much more difficult to treat, or even permanent, when they are older.
Kids in glasses can become very smart. Think about it, you are removing the limitation of fuzzy vision from their learning process. And they can be real cute in their glasses too. Just get beautiful frames.

Children need eye care.
Don’t wait until your child complains about their vision. If you are waiting for a child to complain you may wait forever. A child may be having really poor vision, May even be blind, and that child will never say a word. Really small children can’t even talk anyway. And when they get older, they don’t know any different. They’ve never had a different visual experience.
This World Sight Day, we encourage you to take action. Visit an eye clinic near you and get that child checked out.

You guessed right. This chart, called a Snellen’s chart, is what is used to check our vision in eye clinics.
