Millet can give you more calcium than milk!
There are different types of millet. From finger millet to pearl and sorghum millet, these grains offer a whole lot of nutritional advantages. They are gluten-free, nutrient-dense, fibre-rich and contain varying amounts of minerals.
The finger millet is especially reported to contain up to 3/4 times more calcium than milk! As a plant-based food, this is a very good option for vegetarians as a source of calcium.
You can make variety of dishes like porridge, pastries, swallows, pap etc.from millets.
