* The virus is not a living organism, but a protein molecule (DNA) covered by a protective layer of lipid (fat), which, when absorbed by the cells of the ocular, nasal or buccal mucosa, changes their genetic code. (mutation) and convert them into aggressors and cells.
* Since the virus is not a living organism but a protein molecule, it is not killed but decays on its own. The disintegration time depends on the temperature, humidity, and type of material where it lies.
* The virus is very fragile; the only thing that protects it is a thin outer layer of fat. That is why any soap or detergent is the best remedy because the foam CUTS the FAT (that is why you have to rub so much: for 20 seconds or more, to make a lot of foam).
By dissolving the fat layer, the protein molecule disperses and breaks down on its own.
* HEAT melts fat; this is why it is so good to use water above 77 degrees Fahrenheit for washing hands, clothes, and everything. Besides, hot water makes more foam, and that makes it even more useful.
* Alcohol or any mixture with alcohol over 65% DISSOLVES ANY FAT, especially the external lipid layer of the virus.
* Any mix with 1 part bleach and 5 parts water directly dissolves the protein, breaks it down from the inside.
* Oxygenated water helps long after soap, alcohol, and chlorine because peroxide dissolves the virus protein, but you have to use it pure, and it hurts your skin.
* NO BACTERICIDE OR ANTIBIOTIC SERVES. The virus is not a living organism like bacteria; antibodies cannot kill what is not alive.
* NEVER shake used or unused clothing, sheets or cloth. While it is glued to a porous surface, it is very inert and disintegrates only
-between:
-3 hours (fabric and permeable),
-4 hours (copper and wood),
-24 hours (cardboard),
-42 hours (metal) and
-72 hours (plastic).

If you shake it or use a feather duster, the virus molecules float in the air for up to 3 hours and can lodge in your nose.
* The virus molecules remain very stable in external cold, or artificial as air conditioners in houses and cars.
They also need moisture to stay stable and especially darkness. Therefore, dehumidified, dry, warm, and bright environments will degrade it faster.
* UV LIGHT on any object that may contain it breaks down the virus protein. For example, to disinfect and reuse a mask is perfect. Be careful, it also breaks down collagen (which is protein) in the skin.
* The virus CANNOT go through healthy skin.
* Vinegar is NOT useful because it does not break down the protective layer of fat.
* NO SPIRITS, NOR VODKA, serve. The most potent vodka is 40% alcohol, and you need 65%.
* LISTERINE IF IT SERVES! It is 65% alcohol.
* The more confined space, the more concentration of the virus there can be. The more open or naturally ventilated, the less.
* You have to wash your hands before and after touching mucosa, food, locks, k***s, switches, remote control, cell phone, watches, computers, desks, TV, etc. And when using the bathroom.
* You have to moisturize dry hands from so much washing because the molecules can hide in the micro cracks. The thicker the moisturizer, the better.
* Also keep your NAILS SHORT so that the virus does not hide there.

What Is Coronaviruse?

Coronaviruses are types of viruses that typically affect the respiratory tracts of birds and mammals, including humans. Doctors associate them with the common cold, bronchitis, pneumonia, and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), and they can also affect the gut. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared a global health emergency over a new coronavirus, which causes an illness officially known as COVID-19 that has killed more than 2,800 people worldwide.
How Do People Get Infected?
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is most often spread from person to person via respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. A person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it . People are thought to be most contagious when they are most symptomatic . Most people who become infected experience mild illness and recover, but it can be more severe for others. Take care of your health and protect others by doing the following:

10 Simple Ways To Protect Yourself and Family From Coronavirus
The World Health organization and other health agencies recommend some basic protective measures against the new coronavirus which include:

1. Washing your hands frequently
Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.
Why? Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands.

2. Maintain social distancing
Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
Why? When someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease.

3. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
Why? Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.

4. Practice respiratory hygiene
Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately. A face mask will provide an additional layer of protection especially in public.
Why? Droplets spread virus. By following good respiratory hygiene you protect the people around you from viruses such as cold, flu and COVID-19.

5. If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority.
Why? National and local authorities will have the most up to date information on the situation in your area. Calling in advance will allow your health care provider to quickly direct you to the right health facility. This will also protect you and help prevent spread of viruses and other infections.

6. Stay informed and follow advice given by your healthcare provider
Stay informed on the latest developments about COVID-19. Follow advice given by your healthcare provider, your national and local public health authority or your employer on how to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.
Why? National and local authorities will have the most up to date information on whether COVID-19 is spreading in your area. They are best placed to advise on what people in your area should be doing to protect themselves.
Protection measures for persons who are in or have recently visited (past 14 days) areas where COVID-19 is spreading

7. Stay at home if you begin to feel unwell, even with mild symptoms such as headache and slight runny nose, until you recover.
Why? Avoiding contact with others and visits to medical facilities will allow these facilities to operate more effectively and help protect you and others from possible COVID-19 and other viruses.

8. If you develop fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical advice promptly as this may be due to a respiratory infection or other serious condition. Call in advance and tell your provider of any recent travel or contact with travelers.
Why? Calling in advance will allow your health care provider to quickly direct you to the right health facility. This will also help to prevent possible spread of COVID-19 and other viruses.

9. Avoid panic and ignore text, Whatsapp messages or social media post promoting uncertified local concoctions as remedy, cure or prevention for corona virus.
Why? Such messages and broadcast have been shown to kill more people than the virus itself as witnessed in Nigeria during the Ebola salt and water hoax.

10. As much as possible avoid parties, crowded religious, ceremonial and official gathering especially in areas with confirmed cases also take additional measures to protect babies and children.
Why? An infected South Korea woman who went to church was responsible for the corona Carnage in the country . The so-called superspreader infected at least 37 people at her church with the new coronavirus, and dozens of additional worshippers are also showing symptoms of the disease. The 61-year-old woman attends the Shincheonji Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony in Daegu, South Korea, according to the international news outlet AFP. The city, located in the southern part of the country, is home to about 2.5 million people. The woman, called "Patient 31" by Korea's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, developed a fever on Feb. 10 and attended four church services before being diagnosed with COVID-19.

How do you prepare for your safety as extreme heat and harmattan kick in? HotSpots Team has compiled these tips from thought leaders and experts for your safety.

7 WAYS TO SURVIVE DRY SEASON HARMATTAN AND HEAT
WEAR LIGHT-WEIGHT, LIGHT COLOURED AND LOOSE-FITTING CLOTHING –
Though Harmatan comes with cold, but remember that the cold times are limited to the night and very early in the morning. This will quickly give way to intensely hot and long sunny hours during the day. With light-weight and loose-fitting clothing, you can still be comfortable and not suffer from exhaustion and profuse sweating. Also wear light-coloured clothing that reflects light away and avoid dark coloured clothing that traps heat and make you sweat profusely. Don’t forget to keep handkerchief, face towels handy too.

PREPARE YOUR CARS, OFFICES AND HOME – This is the time to repair faulty car air condition systems. You don’t want to be caught in a stand-still traffic in the hot sun without a functioning AC. Ensure your offices and homes are well ventilated. A small investment in rechargeable fans gives you better returns in cool night rests and refreshed body in the morning. This will save you from the expected power outages at nights.

ALWAYS GO ABOUT WITH MOISTURISERS – Always go about with moisturisers to prevent dry
and white skins, lip gloss to prevent cracked lips, Vaseline etc.

STAY WELL HYDRATED – Stay well hydrated, drink lots of water and avoid carbonated soft drinks and alcoholic drinks as these will quicken your dehydration especially during the hot sunny hours of the day. Always go around with bottle water if you commute a lot. This will help to keep your body metabolism on regardless of the weather.

KEEP YOUR ENVIRONMENT TIDY AND HYGIENIC – Hot and dry seasons is also characterized by increased rodents and reptiles’ activities (e.g. snake bites), insects (e.g. mosquitoes) and bees bites. Ensure your environment is NOT conducive for these creatures by clearing bushes around your homes/offices, ensure no stagnant water, clear blocked drains, and gutters, repair bad mosquito nets (or install new ones) and fumigate. These simple preventive measures will save you huge costs in treating the fall-outs of rodents, reptiles and insects attacks.

GET YOUR NOSE MASKS READY – The roads are dry and the dusts emanating from numerous untarred roads will soon become the trademark of most Nigerian roads. This will ultimately lead to several respiratory ailments and disorders like catarrh and cough. Ensure you have handy you’re nose masks wherever you go this season.

Introduction

Cholesterol is a white, waxy, fatty substance. It is made in the liver and released into the bloodstream. You can also get cholesterol from the food you eat. It is a type of fat found in the bloodstream. Your body needs some cholesterol to work effectively. Cholesterol has many good uses, but is a problem when there is too much of it in the blood.

The different types of cholesterol

HDL

High-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol is sometimes called good cholesterol.

HDL protects you against heart disease by carrying the extra cholesterol out of your arteries, which lowers your chance of having a heart attack or stroke.

The more HDL you have, the better. Exercise can also increase your good cholesterol.

LDL

Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol is sometimes called bad cholesterol.

LDL leads to a build-up of bad fat in the artery walls, which can lead to chest pain, heart disease, heart attack, stroke, and kidney and circulation problems.

Triglycerides

Triglycerides are often present in people who have diabetes or alcoholism. They increase the risk of heart disease.

Total Cholesterol

The total blood cholesterol is a measure of LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, and other lipid components. Doctor will use your total cholesterol number when determining your risk for heart disease and how best to manage it.

Cholesterol chart for adults

According to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, these are the acceptable, borderline, and high cholesterol and triglyceride measurements for adults. All values are in mg/dL (milligrams per deciliter).

Top (5) MOST EXPENSIVE DRUGS In The World And Diseases They Cure might leave you wondering about the shortcomings in life.

Your chances of survival can be estimated at approximately 10%, even if you are extremely careful with your standard of living, food intake and immediate surroundings.
Health issues like a headache can be cured for free by government-owned hospitals in some continents.
In most cases, the cost of treating victims with rare diseases might be so expensive, which might eventually run a well-established government agency down in a short period of time.
it’s a known fact that some Special drugs used in managing rare diseases have proven to be more expensive than some self-acquired luxuries or investments combined.
The research found out that some people would rather move on to the afterlife than lavishing money on some expensive drugs, which might eventually choke them to death someday because the chances of survival are below the limit of zero.

1. Glybera ($1.2 Million)
(434,124,000.00 naira)
Glybera is the trade name of Alipogene tiparvovec developed and marketed by uniQure.
This gene therapy treatment is not approved in the US -- the overwhelming cost rate might be the only possible reasons associated with the US not approving the drug use among its citizens.
Europe approved the legal recommendation of the drug which was endorsed by European Commission in 2012, it is used to treat lipoprotein lipase deficiency (LPLD), a rare inherited disorder which can cause severe pancreatitis.
As of 2016, only one person had been treated with the drug. uniQure also announced in April 2017, it will not be renewing the marketing authorization of Glybera in Europe complaining of lack of demand.

2. Luxturna ($850,000)
(307,504,500.00 naira)
Luxturna is a trade name for Voretigene neparvovec, a gene therapy for the treatment of Leber's congenital amaurosis
It was developed by Spark Therapeutics and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
This is the first gene therapy to be approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
It is considered by some people as the most expensive drug in the world due to the low demand for Glycera.
3. Ravicti ($793,000)
(286,883,610.00 naira)
Glycerol phenylbutyrate (trade name: Ravicti) is a drug manufactured by Hyperion Therapeutics (now Horizon Pharma) used for treating toxic ammonia in the blood, for people with urea cycle disorder.
Ammonia is very toxic in the blood and tissues and can lead to permanent brain damage, coma, or death.
To treat this life snatching disease, you would have to give out a whopping $793,000.

4. Soliris ($7000,000)
(253,239,000.00 naira)
Soliris is the trade name of Eculizumab, a medication used for the treatment of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) and atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS).
It is developed and manufactured by Alexion Pharmaceuticals Inc. in America.
In October 2017, it was certified to be able to treat adults with neuromuscular disorder generalized myasthenia gravis (GMG) who are anti-acetylcholine receptor (AchR) antibody-positive.
This is probably a mouthful of medical jargons and we wouldn't like to bore your precious day with that -- research it.

5. Brineura ($700,000)
(253,239,000.00 naira)
This was drug developed by BioMarin Pharmaceutical as, postingday.com team would rather call this drug "save a child with $700,000" drug. Ok we know, we are so bad at jokes .
Cerliponase alfa (marketed as Brineura) is a drug used in treating Batten disease, which is a form of neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis.
The disease is an uncommon disorder (inherited) that affects the nervous system. It usually manifests in early childhood (5-10 years) with symptoms like seizures. The victims of this disease often require the use of a wheelchair or a walking aid, by late childhood and most do not survive past their teens.
The amount a patient or their family pays for Brineura treatment is affected by multiple circumstances, including manufacturer support.
