Praying together does not keep a couple together.
Couples that forgive each other stay together.
Couples that understand each other stay together.
Couples who care for each other stay together.
Couples who support each other's spiritual journey stay together.
Couples who are not easily offended stay together.
Couples who help each other with the necessities and demands of running a home stay together.
Couples who are faithful to their marriage covenant stay together.
Couples who manage their finances wisely stay together.
Couples who are not lazy stay together.
Couples who communicate stay together.
Couples who share similar goals and interests stay together.
Couples who are involved in their children's lives stay together.
Couples who prioritise each other over others stay together.
Couples who establish boundaries with friends and relatives to defend their home stay together.
Couples who speak each others love language stay together.
Couples who are quick to apologize and quick to forgive stay together.
Couples who are transparent with their privacy stay together.
Couples who are accountable to each other stay together.
Couples who are teachable and adaptable stay together.
The only thing that happens to couples who pray together is that they have a renewed grace and capacity to successfully apply the basic principles that sustains a home.
It is what you do with this daily dose of grace that keeps you two together.
"In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead" (James 2:17)
