The United Nations just declared:

“We demand stronger regulation of social media.”

Translation? They don’t think humanity can be trusted to think for itself anymore.

The same institutions that lied about wars, pandemics, and climate targets now want to decide what’s “true” online.

Should the UN have that power?

For those supporting that spoilt brat for confronting Minister Wike, I truly pity you. It only exposes the depth of misunderstanding that plagues our society. Is the Minister not simply performing his duties? Tell me, what business does a military officer have guarding an uncompleted building? Our security personnel have abandoned their primary responsibilities and reduced themselves to mere gatekeepers. This misplaced priority is one of the major reasons insecurity continues to thrive in our nation. Indeed, I weep for my country.

As the United Nations marks its 80th anniversary, I, Dr. Magdaline Na’anyil Dakogol, on behalf of the International College of Diplomatic Affairs, extends heartfelt congratulations to this great institution for eight decades of unwavering commitment to global peace, human rights, and sustainable development.

For eighty years, the United Nations has remained a beacon of hope and unity championing the cause of humanity, empowering women and youth, and standing firm in the pursuit of justice and equality. Its legacy reminds us that through dialogue, cooperation, and diplomacy, we can overcome global challenges and build a world where no one is left behind.
