This is Onitsha.

The last time I was in Onitsha was 2007. One thing I noticed with Onitsha is high rise buildings as you can see in the pictures. Factories are working in Onitsha and Aba and they are own by individuals Igbo men not government. Onitsha is not a state capital but it can be compared to any state capital in Nigeria.

Southern Kaduna, we have a lot to learn from the Igbos. We are oppressed like them and merginalise like them but they don't wait for government for anything, they do things through community efforts..

Let emulate the Igbos let our security, infrastructural development like roads and schools be through community. Some of you reading me now are saying the Igbos are rich they are into business. See southern Kaduna is also very rich. God gave you ginger around Jaba, Kachia, Kagarko and Jemaa LGAs , one of the best cash crops in the world. What do we do with our ginger. God gave you corn , around Kauru and Lere LGAs the largest producers in the entire Nigeria. Funtua, Giwa, Dandume are only second after you. Many of you will say we need our state. State creation during civilian regime is not as easy as military. Why don't we forget about state because it's not feasible unless a miracle happens.

An average southern Kaduna man is in love with farming and civil service work(Government office work), It's good. But I think let start venturing into manufacturing like the Igbos, we have the raw materials and resources. The much talk about Nickel discovered in Jemaa LGA about 4 years ago what's happening to it? A woman disclosed to me last week her son moved to Kafanchan last week for mining of minerals. I remembered in the 90s when Senegalese, Malians and Guineans invaded southern Kaduna mining illegally. Those minerals are still there under the ground , in Sanga and Jemaa LGAs.

SOUTHERN KADUNA WE NEED TO THINK OUT OF THE BOX

Let's put our eyes away from government and think inward, Southern Kaduna. God bless Southern Kaduna, God bless Nigeria.
