It’s common for teenagers who have just started menstruating to miss their period.

If this happens, the first thing that should come to your mind should not be pregnancy instead this usually occur as a result of immature reproductive system at that early stage.

So, no cause for alarm, as the child grows up, her period becomes regularized.

But if the child has history of “kurukere movement”, don’t hesitate to do pregnancy test as you might just
be becoming a grandmother or grandfather soon.

Basic investigations you need to do if you have not been able to get pregnant for one year of marriage are:

1. Pelvic Scan to check any abnormalities in the womb

2. Hormonal Assay for hormonal imbalance

3. Hysterosalpingography(HSG) to outline the womb as well as patency of fallopian tubes.

And don’t forget to do seminal fluid analysis for male partners

I do advise pregnant mothers close to delivery to go to hospital immediately they see gush of water coming out from their VG.

This is because it might lead to cord prolapse which is usually an Emergency CS and the result is either ways

One of us just loss her baby as a result of this😢😢

As a female, you need to have certain information at your fingertips:

Your Last Menstrual Period, Which Is The First Day of Your Menstruation And Not The Last Day.

Your Menstrual Cycle, Which Is The Number of Days Between Two Consecutive Me**es.

Your Ovulation Day, Which Is The Day You Are Likely Going To Release A Matured Egg.

Your Fertile/Unsafe Period, Which Is The Time You Are Likely Going To Get Pregnant.

Your Free/Safe Period, Which Is The Time You Are Likely Not Going To Get Pregnant.

If You Do Not Know All These And You Want To Get Pregnant, Continue Firing. One day “Something Go Sup”

If You Continue Firing But You Are Not Ready To Double, The Lord Is Your Strength.

Are you getting different dates as expected date of delivery from different scan results?

No need to panic.

You either use your last menstrual period to calculate your EDD or consider the early scans you did in your first trimester.

Late scan (done in third trimester) are not reliable for EDD.

Third trimester scans are use to determine the positioning of baby in the womb etc
