Today makes it exactly one month since I was debited ₦26,000 for a subscription I made last year.

I completely forgot to unsubscribe, so when it renewed automatically, I was charged ₦26,000 again.
The moment I saw the debit alert, everywhere went blurry! 😂😂

After running back and forth between my bank and the company’s customer service, I was finally told that they wouldn’t be able to issue a refund.
That’s when it sank in — I had just lost ₦26,000.

There’s this neighbor of mine who always comes home very late at night and leaves for work very early in the morning.
She’s always the first to leave the house in the morning and the last to return at night.
None of us tenants really know her in person or have ever seen her face clearly.

Her flat is almost directly opposite mine, so I always notice when she comes back late or leaves for work.
The only times I don’t notice are when I’m asleep or too tired after work to stay up late or wake up early as usual.

Something happened last week — our landlord summoned all the tenants for a meeting.
Guess what?

We’ve been living with a ghóst all this time!

According to our landlord, the lady d!ed last year while coming back from work — and since then, she was never bur!ed.
That’s when it hit me… her sp!rit still lingers among us. 💔
