So this man came to the facility with a blood sugar level of 350mg/dl, his oral drugs didn’t work, the glycemic index is too high so an urgent intervention is needed.
Why was it so? He decided to have it all because it’s festive period, there’s a lot to drink and eat.
I was glad that he confessed and admitted to have neglected his health and ate all that he was advised not to eat, not just in little amount but in large quantity.
If you’re hypertensive and diabetic do not cast a blind eye on these conditions this season and decide to do whatever you want. Don’t join others to eat and drink recklessly. Stick to your diet and routine so that you won’t land in the Emergency Room.
