The mother writes:

“Justice for José.

On August 18th, I was admitted to Hospital Jayme Santos Neves to be induced. The recommendation was to go there because my pregnancy was considered high risk due to high blood pressure that was not being controlled, not even with medication.

On August 19th at 6 am, José was born—healthy and perfect, after a normal birth. It was an enormous joy. We went up to the room, and hours later they took him to a heated crib because his temperature was 36.2°C, and the ideal is 36.5°C. My mother went with him, and I went to rest.

I woke up to the sound of my baby crying and a smell of something burning. When I got to the room, there were already several people there and a commotion. They took me downstairs to where the NICU is, and my mother told me what had happened.

– A nurse had taken a piece of cotton, heated it on a metal plate that acts like an ember, put it inside José’s sock, and then put his onesie back on. He immediately started crying a lot. They claimed it would soothe him, and they even put their finger (with a glove) in his mouth to calm him down since he’s very sweet, but the burning continued, and the smell grew stronger. My mother noticed that his onesie had changed color and removed it. When she took off José’s sock, his foot was already burned—the sock and the onesie too.

– Thank God my mother was there in time, because otherwise I might not have my son today—he could have been completely burned.

Now, he is at the Children’s Hospital, in the NICU, and tomorrow they will perform surgery to determine the depth of the burn and what needs to be done. There are many details I haven’t even written here because the neglect was so extreme it makes me sick.

My son was born healthy, and just hours later, our lives were turned upside down in a terrible way. I am in postpartum recovery. Even though my birth was normal, I had 20 stitches and am not being given the right to rest as I should. My son was denied the right to exclusive breastfeeding, and I am spending sleepless nights away from him, suffering damages that will never be forgotten.

We were supposed to be discharged today if it weren’t for this situation. Now, I

Sometimes in the labour room, a baby does not arrive head first, but with the legs or buttocks presenting. 🦵🦵
This is called a breech delivery.

Breech happens not by choice, but often because of conditions like the shape of the womb, the amount of amniotic fluid, the placenta’s position, or limited space, especially in twins or triplets.

While it may look unusual, it is a serious moment for doctors and nurses. The head, which is the largest part, comes last, making breathing and passage more risky. That’s why skilled judgment is crucial, some breech babies can be safely delivered vaginally, but many times a cesarean section is the safest option.

The wisdom here is clear, pregnancy is a journey where preparation and medical guidance can make all the difference. Every antenatal visit and hospital delivery increases the chances of safe outcomes for both mother and child.

Dear pregnant women of wise nation, don't ever joke with Antenatal ❤️🥺🙏

Polymelia is a rare congenital (present at birth) condition in which a person is born with more than the usual number of limbs.

Key facts:

Extra limbs may be fully developed or partially formed.

Causes include abnormal embryonic development, genetic mutations, or incomplete separation of conjoined twins (the extra limb may come from a "parasitic twin").

Diagnosis is often possible during pregnancy using ultrasound or MRI.

Treatment usually involves surgical removal of the extra limb, often performed in early childhood for better function and appearance.

Side Effects of Cloves on Pregnant Women🎤🎤

Cloves are a popular spice known for their sweet aroma and medicinal benefits, but during pregnancy, they should be consumed with caution. While small amounts used in cooking are generally safe, taking large quantities or using clove oil can cause some side effects.
1. Heartburn and Stomach Irr!tation – Pregnancy already slows digestion, and too much clove can increase ac!dity, leading to heartburn, stomach upset, or nausea.
2. Risk of Uterine Contractions – Clove oil, especially in concentrated form, may stimulate the uterus, which could trigger contractions and increase the r!sk of prěterm labor.
3. Allergic Reactions – Some pregnant women may develop allergic symptoms like rashes, itching, or swelling after consuming cloves.
4. Increased Bleeding R!sk – Cloves contain eugenol, a compound that can thin the blood, potentially increasing blěêding r!sk during delivery or if there’s pregnancy-related blěěaading.
5. Low Blood Sugar – In some cases, cloves may lower blood sugar, which can be risky for women with gestational diabetes or low blood sugar episodes.

Bottom line: Cooking with small amounts of cloves is generally fine, but avoid clove supplements or concentrated clove oil during pregnancy unless your healthcare provider approves. Your safety and your baby’s health should always come first.
