Today, I bring you this "Sacred Plant" called Neubouldia Laevis, It is called Ogirisi/Egbo in Igbo, Akoko in Yoruba and Aduruku in Hausa language. It is also called the "Fertility Plant" because it is very effective in boosting the Fertility level in women.
Ogirisi/Egbo is highly significant in Igbo land, it is basically used for burials, to mark individual, family or farm lands boundaries in the villages and so on....but what you don't know is that there is more to this "wonder plant". Have you ever wondered why people rush off to wash their hands with Ogrisi leaves, after they come in contact with a coffin or a co**se? It is because it cleanses you from bad and evil spirits and it neutralizes any negative effects that'll result from coming in contact with the co**se. Let's see how you can use it spiritually;
1. If you have a compound, plant this tree in your house, to protect you from evil and bad spirits.
2. Squeeze Ogirisi leaves to get the juice, give it to a person that is under an attack or someone that stepped on traditional charm and the person will be revived.
3. When you're going to a place where there are evil people, put just a small Ogirisi leave in your bag or pocket to protect yourself from any eviI or spiritual attack.
4. Squeeze some juice into your bathing water, for these reasons ;
* When you feel uneasy for no reason
* When you have goose bumps that won't disappear for few minutes and it is accompanied with headache.
* When you always feel scared for no just cause and it is also accompanied with lots of bad dreams.
Take your bath with the water containing the Ogirisi juice, pray and you'll be protected from evil attack of any form.
FOR THE HERBAL USES:
1.How to use the leaves for fertility : Boil the leaves in water for 10-15 minutes. When it is a little bit cold, drain the water and drink half a glass 2 times a day, immediately after your menstruation for 3-5 days. It aslo treats irregular mensuration, me**es discoloration, helps induce ovulation for easy conception and corrects ovulation disorder.
2.FOR TOOHACHE : Boil the leaves with water, pour a little into your mouth and gargle in that side that you feel pain. Continue till you feel better.
3. It is used as an antidote for treating venomous stings and bites.
4. It acts as a pain killer. Boil the leaves and take half a glass to relieve your pains.
5. It is also used as a cough syrup. Boil the bark in original palm wine or water and use it for the treatment of cough.
6. It has an antidiabetic properties. The leaves has an anti hyperglycemia abilities that can help in regulating blood sugar
7. The leaves and barks are used for treating epilepsy and spasms. Boil the leaves and barks, drink morning and night.
8. The leaves has an antifungal properties very effective against skin problems like eczema, acnes and so on.
9.drinking water from the boiled leave also treats stomach upsets like constipation, diarrhoea, dysentery, pile, and more.
10.The dried powdered ogirisi bark and alligator pepper is used to alleviate migraines. The bark when applied externally is used for wounds and ulcers.
