Today is , and this year’s theme “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures” is a powerful call to action for all of us, and for governments, to step up efforts to end preventable maternal and newborn deaths and prioritize their long-term health and well-being.
At HPI, we’re taking the conversation further by exploring the intersection between non-communicable diseases (NCDs) like diabetes and hypertension, and maternal and child health.
Now, we want to hear from you:
• Have you ever heard of diabetes or high blood pressure in pregnancy?
• Did you, or someone you know, experience it?
• If yes, what was the most challenging part — in one word?

Your story or even your curiosity could help raise awareness and support others going through similar experiences.
