International Women's Day is a day to remind us of the need to continually strive for gender-based equality and to promote social modification that will crush the stereotypes that have been imported and purported in a fast evolving world.
It's a time to remind our policy makers in all sectors that women have evolved beyond the KITCHEN and the BEDROOM; hence, they should be given opportunities to bring their knowledge and strength to bear in matters needing immediate response.
On this Special day, I wish every woman fulfilled her dreams and break free from limitations either self-imposed or culturally/socially/religiously imposed.
