This post is for everyone but most especially the new reverts or people considering coming back to ìṣese.

Some people are facing some life challenges and were asked to go back to their ancestors' path while some to return to a particular Irunmonle /Òrìṣà .

They believe it's the said irunmole/orisa that is inflicting them with all of those challenges they are going through. Whereas, the truth is that they aren't the one. The challenges have always being there but the Irunmonle have been shielding such people from the claws of those challenges.

Eventually when they disassociate themselves from the Irunmonle /Orisa by rebuking them, they are also forced to withdraw their protections/provisions from such people; which now gives room for all the waiting challenges to swallow them up in conquest . It's not fair to now blame the Irunmonle /Orisa for the consequences of your decision to reject them. You broke the agreement first not them.

If you don't eat food, you will go hungry

This doesn't mean food is the one intentionally inflicting the pain of starvation on you.

This is a simple way to view our relationship with our Irunmonles. When we honor them, they keep their part of the agreement by guarding us against evils of life but when you denounce them, they also leave you to fend for yourself.

When you disown your parent, they will have to stop their responsibilities on you so you will understand the consequences of your actions. Every privilege of parent's role will be withdrawn

You can't disown your own parents and expect an adopted parent to rate you over their own children.

Àbí can you be working at a bank and be expecting a salary from an hospital?

HONOUR YOUR ANCESTORS because if you don't stop rebuking your forefathers, in 50 to 100 years to come your own descendants will also rebuke and bind you when you become an ancestor too.

You Own Nothing, You Lose Nothing...

If you buy land or buy a house, you have only paid rent for the remaining years you have on Earth. None of them belong to you.

If you buy a car, you have only paid for your transport for the period the car will last or for the period you will last. It doesn't belong to you.

If you marry a spouse, you have only got company until circumstances or death do you part. No one owns the other.

If you have children, you have only fulfilled the demand of continuity of life until death comes. You don't own them. That's why the State still dictates how you bring them up.

If you have money, you have only amassed value to purchase what you want, for your remaining number of years on Earth. The notes belong to the Central Bank.

If you work and retire, your pension is only for life. After your life, it stops.

Even if you eat and get filled, the food in your belly isn't yours. You must defecate it back to Earth.

The body itself which you cherish so highly, doesn't belong to you. The Earth will certainly reclaim its bits, when the loan is due.

Even the life we live is borrowed, and surely will be returned.

So let us not be afraid of losing anything in this life, because we do not own anything here. Two things will surely happen; we will either be taken away from everything we think we own or everything we think we own will be taken away from us someday. It is that day that none of us know.

We boast about our body, our houses, our lands, our money, our wives, our husbands, our children, our parents, our everything. But that's where it ends. Boasting! Ruminate intensely and it won't be difficult to find out that, we do not own any of those things. We are only availed of them to mitigate the necessary constraints of our sojourn here.

So never lose your head or your cool or your temper or your values or your vibrancy, whenever you think you have lost something because nothing was ever really yours. Not even....

IBORI
is a very simple, but powerful ritual that can be done to connect with your Ori while ritually cleansing and feeding it. Please note, the ritual presented below has been presented in basic form. When Ibori is performed by a priestess or priest in the religion, it often becomes a much more involved endeavor. However, for the sake of simplicity, the basic ritual has been presented here. It is also important to note that the ability to divine is an important part of performing Ibori, as you can determine a) whether an Ibori needs to be performed, b) what specific offerings your Ori needs and c) whether your Ori has accepted the offerings after they have been made. One can determine this by learning the five basic positions (Alaafia, Oyeku, Ejife, Etawa and Okanran) of the Obi, as they provide very basic, but clear, yes/no replies.

OFFERINGS:
There are many basic offerings to one's Ori. Obviously, it is best if these are determined via divination whenever possible. The following questions may be asked through casting four cowries or Obi:1) Does my Ori need to receive an offering at this time?2) Does it need to receive (insert individual items until you find what it wants...)?3) Always close by asking, “Are there any other offerings that my Ori requires at this time?” and continue casting to determine offerings until a negative response has been received to the above question.

Why do some people's prayer are answered and some people's prayer are not answered.

The reason why some people's prayer are not answered are divided into four reasons.

First one is if the person always backbite.

Second is if what we are praying for won't benefit us. If what the person is requesting for won't benefit him, his ancestors will rise up and won't allow the prayer to be answered.

Third reason is If the time for the person's prayer to be answered is not yet time. And if the person use unacceptable means to get what he/she is pursuing in haste, it won't last.

The forth reason why our prayers may likely not to be answered is if we ourselves are the problem to our life. What if we are the obstacle to our own success?
