The use of corn silk reduces blood sugar levels. On same note, don't combine corn silk when you use specific diabetes drugs.
If you use both at the same time, your blood sugar levels may fall too low resulting to hypoglycemia, which is not desirable.

Please, those who have blood sugar in high amounts (hyperglycemia) or are dealing with elevated blood pressure (hypertension) should take this tea after consulting a doctor.

βœ…. Not recommended for pregnant women after the first four months, as it can cause uterine contractions which can lead to premature labour.
