So this night, Agnes and I came back from the Hospital, then Agnes started her usual problem.

“Ehnn Ehnn Joshua, straight to the point, I hope you can see what happened today in the Hospital?”

“Please please, I’m not in the mood for this kind of talk, I want to take my bath, eat and watch TV or probably préss my Phone”

“Of Course, I will allow you do all of these, but I guess this one is much more important—
first of all, I hope you can see how Benita and her Boyfriend Raph are always behaving, Raph always protect Benita like an egg, Most of time he drives her to the hospital, he kísses her in front of everyone every time;
Now, even your friend Sam, I hope you saw what happened today, we all know Cynthia and Sam are dàting, look at the way Cynthia and Sam romance each Other…”

“Agnes, first of all, Cynthia was the one who do the kíssing right?, Is Cynthia not your feIIow Woman?, So why’re you putting the blames on me?”

“What about Raph?, The thing I’m trying to say is that,… Joshua, try and be like them naa, be Romantic, just for once, For once ooo!!!” Agnes said.

“The ‘Kissíng’ that you’re talking about, haven’t we done it more than once, so what’s special in it?”

“Joshua, we did it in a ‘Truth and Dare’ Challenge, it wasn’t intentional, it was Forced!, let’s spice up our Relationship nauww, you even had the audacity to tell your FoIIòwers or whatsoever that My love language is Yoghurt, Me?, me that I’m the most Romantic Person you can ever meet”

“Which Romantic?, wait first, when have you ever done Breakfast on béd for me?, don’t you watch films where A lady cooks so early and Serve her boyfriend or Husband on béd?…”

“You lie!!!, it’s Men that do Breakfast on béd!, go and ask, but guess what: You have not done any to me, it’s only to drag Yoghurt with me that you know how to do — you’ll buy Yoghurt for me, the next Minute you have started announcing it to all your friends; Raph bought a full box of Golden earrings , chains, shoes, he changed her Wardrobe, but you can’t hear noise from him” Agnes said.

“Okayyy, Calculate all the amount of Cartons of Yoghurt that I have used my Mòney to buy for you, you have never render hug to me or even peck me ooo”

“And so?, haven’t I taken you out to eat and all biIIs were on me?”

“The same Date that you always disgracé me, see Agnes, You’re the Unromantic person, accept it and do better, Ladies are the one that do more of the romance, men’s own is just to love you unconditionally, check up on you, and Of course pay biIIs for your Iavish spending”

“Which Làvish spending have you done for me?, Yoghurts and Fruits, as you say it, Shame no catch you?; but Joshua, on a serious note, we need to do better in our Relationship, and I have decided to dish some possible tasks we should be doing henceforth—
First of all, Early in the Morning, when we wake up, we should kíss, it’s caIIed Morning Kíss”

“Ehnn God forbid, I should k!ss you when you haven’t brush your teeth?, Me and you should exchange bàcteria all because of Iove?”

“That’s what make the kíss sweeter naa, you don’t even know all this things;
So secondly, you’re doing this one, and I’m so much proud of you, you do drive us together to the hospital every Morning, that’s the only Romantic thing you’re good at;
Now thirdly, at least once in a week, Joshua, you’ll be doing breakfast in bed for me” Agnes said.

“Thìef!, all the Task is just in your favor, let me also mention my own too, every weekend, you’ll wash my Clothes, Every Morning, I must carry Food to the Hospital, it must be in my Foodflask, also every Weekend, you must take me out for Shopping, all biIIs on you, agree?”

“Fine, all these are easy, I’ll do them, I promise;
Also, lastly, Raph recently bought Benita two Wigs like that, over 120K and 150K;
So this last Month of the year, you should take me your girlfriend to get me a brand new Wig,”

“God forbid , Agnes, I’m not interested in anything again, eat your Love and drink the Romance on top it!;

So this Morning, something bit funny and Romantic happened in the hospital today oo, hmmm, I’m here to drop the gossip.

So Agnes came to my House on Sunday to pass the night in my house, and this morning, we went to the Hospital together.

We were about parting ways, when Sam stumbled Agnes and I.

“Haffa boss, Joshua, it seems anytime Agnes stays in your house, you just Dey fresh” Sam teased.

“You have started, I’m not fresh, I guess you meant, Anytime Agnes stays in my house, I lose weight…”

“Sam, ignore this guy, so how is your First day of the week going for you?” Agnes asked Sam.

“Well, we’re just starting this week, I guess it will go well for us all, we believe in God”

So finally Agnes and Sam started to exchange harmless conversations for the first time ever; they have been having beef for over 3 Months, I even thought they would never say anything to theirselves again, but, I’m just happy I took that step, I guess it resolved it.

As Agnes, Sam and I were discussing, The thrilling moment happened o.

Cynthia, that new Nurse that was just newly employed, came from no where, and greeted Sam, they hugged.
Agnes and I exchanged swift glances of surprise, … they’re not beating the allegations that there’s something Suspicious going between them.

After they discussed o, as Cynthia was leaving, she kissed Sam softly in his Cheek and left. That was the height of it.

Before we could say anything, Sam quickly said,
“Don’t mind that girl o, she’s síck oo!”

“I know, She’s síck in Iove” Agnes said as we burst into laughter.

This kind of news, we need to present it to Benita, our General Women Coordinator Of the Gossip Association 😂😂.
I don’t care whether Sam would be àngry rhat we’re gossiping about him o, at least we have seen live Evidence.

I hope Agnes is seeing the way Cynthia is openly throwing Kísses to Sam oo, she should take note,
Agnes’ only love language is YOGHURT, nothing more, the only time she says sweet sweet things or even act Sweet is when she’s drinking Sweet things like Yoghurt.

I just hope Agnes is taking note o 😒😒.

The Young Màd Man looked at Vanessa and her Parents (who adopted her) as he lain on the Hospital béd, and said he’ll confess why he k!IIed his Wífe who gave birth to Vanessa, and Vanessa’s Twin brother.

“I was an hustling young man who graduated from the University, but was in search for a job. It was in that process that I found a Woman, Vanessa’s Mom, and we feII in Iove, we started dàting.

Vanessa’s mom was not working, nor doing anything, she was basically living in her parents house, while, my own parents weren’t aIive, I was hustling and struggling to cater for my Iife, because my Uncle trained me to the University and told me that as soon as I graduate, I should sort out my life myself.

I finally got a little job as a Hotel Receptionist, The salary was a bit okay, but wasn’t enough. Vanessa’s mom started with her biIIings, things which Almost every girlfriends do in a Relationship; I tried never to let her down, providing for everything that she asked.

But Vanessa’s Mom, Veronica, was a very ungrateful person, She always say deteriorating and Frustrating words to me, words like “You can’t màrry me if you don’t find a better job, how did you want people to look at us— Hotel Receptionist getting Màrried, please look for a better job”

Those words hurt me, I tried looking for Job, but nothing. The thing became worse when she was Pregnant, even her family jòined in ádding pressure to me, it seems it was her family that’s spònsoring the hàrassment and pressure being mounted on me.

I started searching and searching, until I made the terrible místake of My Iife. I was intròduced to rituaI by one of my CIosest Friend, he said that, he can’t stand people lnsult me like that.

We went to the Old Man and then he told us that immediately Vanessa’s Mom is put to béd, I must k!II Her and any MaIe ChiId in there for my Richès to be àctívated.

“But Sir, I want to be rích just because I want to make my Wífe Pròud, and now you want to k!II her, so who then will enjoy the ríches with me?”

The old man said I can màrry another person, to be honest, I feIt reIuctant, but my friend really persuaded me into doing this.

As soon as Vero was put to béd, she gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl.
that night I sIew her, and the MaIe twin!.

I arranged people to take Little Vanessa to the Motherless bàby home, that’s how it all happened, since then I had never rest, I see her spirit haùnting me, sometimes the ChiId, I couldn’t even enjòy the riches;
They told me that there’re no répercussions for RituaI k!IIings, but I guess I’m a living Wítness, Please forgive me, I don’t to díe” the Young Màd Man confessed.

Vanessa was taken from there, because tears that dropped from her eyes were enough to fill the ocean,

“Please bring Vanessa back, I want her to beg her late mom to forgive me, she’s hurting me, please!, please!!!”

Before Vanessa left that Hospital béd where the Màd man was,
“Even if I forgive you, It can’t change what has been written— he that k!IIs with the Swòrd Must Diè by the Swòrd!”, she left and she cried.

The Màd man díed on that spot as the doctor Cònfirmed him dèad!.
Vanessa still lived with the parents that adopted her, in péace and happiness forever.

One thing you should learn from all this, is that,
First of all, there’s no Justifiable Réason why you should use another person’s BIood for any àctivity!, RituaIism Has been so ràmpant in our Society these days, all in the namé for Quìck Mònèy, the end for all this are disàstrous!!, believe in Iegit HustIing, it may take tíme to yield profít, but trust me, with time, It will All Work out.

Also, for mostly our Iadies, those in relationship, Believe in your partners’ legít hustling, stop advising him to put his hands into dírty Schemes just for Quick WeaIth, Trust the Process!; as you’re believing in him to Make it one day through his business, also put effort in Working as Well, Two heads are better than one.

And finally as well, Sometimes, let’s embrace the Characteristics of Vaness— inquisitive, Curiosity, Courage, ready to find what’s the Cause of something.
So many things are odd in our business, Marriages, Academics recently, but we’re too lazy or Unconcerned to Check and weigh thr balances.
Let’s ask Questions where we’re confused, let’s seek Guidance, those who have gone ahead of us, who have passed similiar problems, not all advice might work for our Iives, but Out of all the Guidances and advice, One will definitely work out.

I’m just happy we have come to THE END of this Particular Story, but I guess it’s not over yet from me, I’m coming back with a brand New Story written with a New Pen.

“Who are my Real parents?” Vanessa’s firèd her parents as she entered their room that Sunday evening.

“Vanessa, have you gòne Màd?, what sort of question is that?, What did Petra and her family tell you?, where is that Petra?!” Vanessa’s Mom said as she was about getting up to àngrily look for Petra, the house help.

Vanessa started crying,
“There would be no need for this Dramatic displays, you have fooIed me for years, making me think that you’re my ReaI parents whereas it’s all Iies!, Say the truth Dad, Are you my Biological Parents?”

“I’m totally disappointed in you Vanessa, for you to believe the rùbbish that any Stranger would have told you!!, Don’t we look aIike?, you see the reason why we don’t want you to be associating with anyone, what did Petra tell you this time?”

“You all should stop accusing Petra, she didn’t tell me anything!, she don’t know me or anything about me, so don’t stop lying Mom, I’ve known the Truth, I’m just asking you to Confess just this once— Who is my ReaI parents?”

Vanessa’s parents saw that they have finally been exposed!, they saw that Vanessa had known the Truth already and there’s no need pretending any longer, so they looked at her sadly,

“Well there’s nothing bàd Vanessa, most family do practice it okay, don’t take it serious My Queen, …. We.., we might not be the ones who brought you to this World, but we’re still your parents, we love you!” Vanessa’s Dad said.

Vanessa opened her mouth in surprise , as she bent down in pains, “So it’s true!,” tears flown down her eyes.

Her mom came nearer to her, but Vanessa shouted “leave me!!… just leave me”

She left the room, as her mom foIIòwed her.

They met Petra in the sitting Room, and Vanessa’s mom started to shout at Petra,
“You wítch, What did you tell My Daughter Vanessa?”

“Mom, stop this!!!, I’ve told you she didn’t tell me anything, you’re making me more àngry, So you planned to keep this from me forever; who are my parents then?, please show me my real parents…” Vanessa said.

“Well, I don’t know who your real parents are!, we pícked you up from Motherless baby home, We’re so sorry about that my Angel, but we can be your parents for Iife, please my AngeI”

Vanessa sat on the chair crying and weeping, They all consoIed her.
Vanessa then remembered what Petra’s Mom told them to do— they’re to go to where the young Màd Man is, so he could confess.

“Mom, there’s a big problem!!, and I want us to act urgent, very urgent…” Vanessa said.

“What’s it?”

“That young Màd Man is in the hospital, and he’s at the point of deàth!, we’re to visit him before 3 days, he has something to confess to us, I guess he has a hand in this” Vanessa said.

“Wait, I’m confused, … so, it’s the Màd Man who has been telling you all this?, how did he know everything about you?” Vanessa’s dad asked.

“Daddy, I suggest, first thing tomorrow Morning, we visit him, for our own good, There’s no time to ask Questions, please we need to act fast”

“Okay, Vanessa, anything you want us to do, We’ll do for you my Queen; but promise that you won’t run away from us, please, we’re still your parents, remember everything we have done for you, being your Biological parents doesn’t matter dèar” her mom said.

Vanessa hugged her mom and dad.

The next Morning, they went to the Hospital where the Young Màd man was, he was in the hospital bed.

As he saw Vanessa, and Her parents, he screamed, “thank God you’re here, I’ve been looking for you, please I’ll confess, I don’t want to díe”

Vanessa’s Mom was confused,
“Confess what?, what are you saying?”

“I’m the Father of this Vanessa over here!!!, yes I’m her Dad, I k!IIed her Mother long time when Vanessa was born, Her mom gave birth to a Twin, Vanessa and her twin Brother, I… I k!IIed the MaIe ChiId and left Vanessa, please I’m sorry for all the atrocitiés!!!” The Màd man confessed.

“You can never in this Iife be my Father, you DeviI in human form, God will pùnísh you!!,” Vanessa burst into tears.

“So you’re her dad???!, You’re very very eviI

So Agnes and her friend Benita finally came to my House this Saturday oo!!!.

As I opened the door, I was shocked to see them standing at the front of my door. They didn’t even text me that they’re coming o.

We were just laughing,
“So Agnes, have you come to breák up with me, or have you found another Guy…” I asked.

Benita interrupted And said Jokingly,
“Is she dàting you before, see his bíg head!”

“So Joshua, alll this time you were telling me that, I can’t live without you, it was all a lie!; all those times you were saying that, I’m the Heart in your body, I’m the Oxygen that you’re breathe, it were all lies” Agnes said.

“No oo, Agnes, I can never lie to you naa; Infact, I’ve been on Surgery since, thank God you came to rescue me now o, The doctor said that it remains just 48 hrs for me to d!e if Agnes doesn’t come back”

“Well Joshua, I guess ever since I’ve been with you, daily I learn lessons from you, I’m not here to break up with you and I can’t, because to be honest, I see a Future in you and with you;
I guess our fight was because of Sam, do you think we can work out with Sam being friends with you?” Agnes said.

“Because I hate that sam, the guy’s mouth is too sharp” Benita said.

“He has already Apologized to you all, so let’s just see if he’ll change, Sam isn’t that kind of Wicked and heartIess guy as you see him o, believe me, he’s the best person you would ever want to be with, He’s already ready to help you at the point ot need; and if he’s wickéd, he won’t successfully run 2 operatiòns on you Agnes”

“Speaking about this Surgery, it’s been long that I coIIapsed o, wow!!, I guess God is healing me gradually; I remember those times that my Symptoms of Sickle Cell was so Severe and strange, it’s well”.

I guess the wrong Thing I said was “go and cook, let us eat”

And you know Benita and Agnes love that word ‘Cooking’, because they’ll waste your food items.

Surgeonites o, After taking over 2 hrs in the kitchen, this was what these two mini deviIs came out with!, though the rice they cooked taste nice…, but they love wasting my ingredients, they don’t know that things are expensive

Anyways, I’m just glad everything is gradually coming back to normal,

Vanessa woke up from that strange dream looking so confused,
‘What could this dream be?’ She asked herself.

That Morning, Vanessa went to the House help Petra to explain the dream she heard concerning this Màd Man’s issue.

“Wowww!!!, this is very Scary, Vanessa, do you think we should continue in the Journey?” Petra asked.

“Of course, What’s Stopping us?, I suggest we should find way and visit Your mom today” Vanessa said.

That day was Sunday; after they went to Church, Petra said she’s visiting her Mom; So Vanessa begged her parents that she wants to es**rt Petra.

Vanessa’s parents agreed; “but make sure you come back early”

As they reached Petra’s house, Vanessa narrated her dream to Petra’s mom who sees Vision, and interprets dream.

“Listen Vanessa, the dream is clear, You are in a Strange Family, that’s not your real Family Vanessa, you need to get that Màd Man as soon as possible to Explain everything that happened, He has a Word on this issue!” Petra’s Mom said.

Petra and Vanessa exchanged looks immediately!!, they were so surprised,

“Ma, you’re saying that my dad and Mom are not my Parents?” Vanessa asked.

“Yes little girl!”

“…and, you’re also saying we should find that young Màd man as soon as possible?, please where should we find him!” Vanessa asked.

“You need to find him before 3 days, the clock is ticking, He must not díe before he Confess all that has ever happened!; he’s currently at the pòint of déath in an HospitaI bèd, I’ll show you his àddress, but you need to go with your Dad and mom that you’re currently living with”

Petra interrupted her mom immediately, “Haaa, mummy, that one is a bit difficult o, Vanessa’s Mom had warnéd Her not to bring up this issue of this Màd Man again, they’ll even be àngry if they heard that we’re Still on the matter, So how then should we convince them to fòIIow us?”

“That one is left for you and Vanessa, but let me Wàrn you, don’t make any attémpt to visit the young Màd Man without Vanessa’s Mom and Dad!” Petra’s mom said and went inside.

Vanessa started crying in the sitting Room,
“I don’t really understand what Your mom is saying— that my parents aren’t my ReaI parents or what?, so who then is my Parents?, How did I then find myself in that family!”

As Petra wanted to hug Vanessa, Vanessa àngrily stood up, heading home.

“My parents must explain to me Who are they in my Life!!, 15 years of déceits, they acted as if they brought me to this World, whereas it was all Iies! Iies!! Iies!!!” Vanessa said as she was crying.

As they got home, Petra begged Vanessa to take it easy so as to worsen this Situation on ground,
“Petra, you’re talking about ‘taking things easy?’, do you know what it means that the people I’m living with aren’t my Biological Parents, that means, I don’t even know who gave birth to me, They tricked me!, and I can never handle this issue with gentility!, I swear on God!”

Vanessa stormed her house as she went upstairs, heading to her Parents’ room that Sunday evening.

As she opened the door, her parents smiled at her,
“So how was it?, where’s Petra?, I hope you had fun in Petra’s house?”

Vanessa ignored all of the questions, and she fired a pointed Question to them,

So I’ve been so busy with Medical duties and also minding my business, that I haven’t updated us about Agnes all this while.

Well this Morning, Dr Sam came to meet me,

“Haffa Joshua, how’s everything?”

“Hmm, I’m fine,..” so we started gisting and talking, then Sam said “What about Agnes,have the two of you settled?”

I hissed, “see just Leave Agnes for now, When she’s normal, we’ll be friends back!”

Sam smiled, “that’s not how it’s been done Man, please excuse me, let me go and tell Agnes something”

“Agnes can’t even listen to me, and you think she’ll listen to you?, …Someone who’s the cause of the rift?”

Sam left me, and went to meet Agnes, and told her some words,

“Agnes, I heard you and Joshua is quarreling because of me, and to be honest, it really shattered my heart that I have hùrt you so much; I’m sorry Agnes, this time around, I’m apologizing officially, with my whole heart, I know I’ve said so many hurtful things to you, please Agnes fòrgive me, I want you not to have any grudge with me, I want you to see me and no form of Bitterness springing up in your heart towards me, every human deserve a Second Chance, please Agnes”

“And how should I know that you’re a good person” Agnes asked Sam.

“Joshua is a good person, so if I’ve been a bàd person to Him, he would never have kept me as a friend”

“Hmmmm, anyways, you and Joshua Has coIIide with yourselves to quarrel with me, but anyways I have heard you Sam, you can go”

“Agnessss, you still don’t want to forgive me?” Sam said.

“Did I say I’m still holding grudges with you?, please leave, I want to think about my Iife”

The Worst part that made me àngry was when Sam told Agnes that “Joshua is missing you o”

Agnes hissed and continue with what she was doing; hmmmm, I hope this girl hasn’t found another person o, haaaa, hmmm!!.

Well, I guess my Social distancing with Agnes is doing some Positivity, but the only possible negative side is that, Agnes might not love me again like before, maybe she might Friendzone me.

Vanessa went home after school that day, looking so Sad, after planning on searching for thar young Màd Man.
She had already agreed with her friend Clare on when to begin the search Operation.

As she got home, she met her parents eating in the dining; she was surprised why she met them at home, “Aren’t they supposed to be in their Workplace?” She thought within herself.

They hugged her and asked How was school; they also asked whether the Màd man has found his way back to that Street; Vanessa said ‘No’. They told her to jò!n them in eating in the dinning, she said she’s not in the mood for that, and that, she’ll eat it in her Room.

The House help, Petra, came to Vanessa’s room to give her the food. She looked at Vanessa and sighed, she knew Vanessa is still thinking about that issue on ground.

“My baby girl, Is it still about that Màd man who was hårassing you the other time?, I thought he has left the street, so what’s still the problem?” Petra asked.

“You won’t understand; that statement he made is really disturbing, and up till now, I’m so shocked that my Dad and Mom aren’t even concerned about that Statement— he said I shouldn’t k!II him!,
If he was reaIIy displaying his lunatics as y’all said, Why is it only me he’s displaying it for?, I just want to see him and ask him the reason he said such statement, but I’m just sad No one wants to help me” Vanessa said.

“If you see him and ask him, will that make you happy?” Petra asked.

“Of course!!!, Infact, I’ll be grateful to you for Iife if you can just help me with that task, he can’t just be terrífied at the sight of a little harmIess girl like me, to the extent he’s begging me not to kiII him, something is Strange and deep somewhere!”

“Well, I can’t really assure you of a Success though, but my Mom is a Seer, like, She sees Vision, she interprets dream, so I feel we can meet her to ask for guidance!” Petra said.

“Hmmmm, sorry to ask,are you sure she doesn’t fàke it?, I mean, are you sure she sees and interprets ReveIations successfully?”

“I can’t tell Iies for you my darling, actually, u shouldn’t have told you this, because, firstly, your parents has warned us to deàd the issue, but I just want you to be Happy!, I guess this is making you síck, that’s why I suggested it” Petra said.

Vanessa hugged Petra with joy,
“Wow!, wow, thank you so so much, when should we sneak out to meet your mom?”

“Anytime you and I are going for Shopping, we’ll brànch to my Mom’s place”.

So after 2 days, it was Saturday. Vanessa and The House help Petra, left the house together for Shopping and refilling the house with food stuffs, from there, they went to Petra’s house.

As they got there, Petra explained to her mom all that’s happening to Her Boss’s daughter, Vanessa. Her mom looked at her and Smile,

Vanessa was in the ceremony too, she was sitting in the table with her parents, but she noticed that She’s not putting on the same attire that her mom and Dad is putting on!!.

She looked confused and scared,
“Daddy, mummy, why did you sew me a different clothes from yours?, our clothes don’t match!”

“Are you bIind?, this is the same Cloth that we’re wearing that you’re also putting on, or you don’t know Colors again?” Vanessa’s Mom said.

Vanessa kept on looking at her cloth and comparing it to her parents’ own, “This is entirely Different!!” Vanessa said within herself.

Soon, the Anchor of that Ceremony came to Vanessa’s Table, and pointed to her parents,
“Why did the two of you choose to be Ignorant, This is not your child, can’t you see her Clothes?, it’s entirely different from yours!”

“But we’re seeing another thing, this cloth match with ours” Vanessa’s parents argued.

“Shut up!!!… how dare you argue with me?!, Vanessa get up and fòIIõw me, This is not your Family!!”

Vanessa cried as she got up and held the MC’s hand as he took her away from that table…

Vanessa woke up immediately from that dream with swéat all over her body.

Vanessa’s Parents told Vanessa strictly, that, She should not have anything to do with that young Màd Man!!!.

Vanessa reluctantly held her ears.

Vanessa nodded her head as she promised to obey everything that Her parents said; She entered The car, and they drove her to School.

During Class sections, pòor Vanessa couldn’t concentrate fully in the class, Her thoughts were so heavy, Her braín were split with fear and Curiosity; she was scared of that Màd man, and at same time, she’s so curious in knowing what he has to say.

During Break time, her friends Clare and Zita came to her seat where she was eating,
