At least half of the world’s population cannot access essential health services and for many basic cancer care, resources are not available. Many reasons are responsible for this are ignorance, poverty, misplaced priority and of course laxity on the part of the government.
There is no reason for any woman to die of breast and cervical cancer at this age if it can be prevented, detected and treated early.

So today, the Management and staff of Funbi Medical Centre in collaboration with TanBo foundation, join our voices with thatof the organisers of World Cancer day Campaign, to help close the care gap, make a difference for everyone, no matter who they are, or where they live.

Aside from screening for breast and cervical cancer today, we also planned to give out HPV vaccine. The vaccine could not be administered because of availability constraints. All our efforts to buy did not yield any result.
