Through a formalized relationship with Lokmanya Orthopedics, The Kasi Sports Medicine team will be merged with Lokmanya beginning in August 2018 with a formal training program for Kasi Sports Medicine Doctors and managers. Following this a selected Lokmanya Orthopedic Doctors and Managers will join the Nigerian team to provide the ongoing service will have access to an array of clinical resources that aim to promote collaboration and enhance locally provided care. These resources include:
· Teleradiology & Teleconsultation: that allow physicians to connect electronically and directly with Lokmanya specialists for 2nd opinion and additional input on a patient’s care.
· International Conferences and Grand Rounds: conferences that allow physicians to present and discuss management of complex patient cases with a multidisciplinary panel of Lokmanaya Orthopedics and specialists and other international experts.
· International management: A dedicated International manger has been appointed that will enables Kasi Healthcare implement Lokmanya clinical, operational and business models, including design and implementation, to meet each organization’s clinical, operational and business objectives
Kasi Orthopedics and Sports Medicine staff also will have access to professional development opportunities, including conferences, grand rounds, and symposia and continuing medical education programs. In addition the Nigerian public will also enjoy an extensive library of patient education materials.
