FINDING A WIFE

BIBLE TEXT: Prov. 18: 22

Prov.18.22 The man who finds a wife finds a treasure and receives favor from the LORD. (NLT)

As a man ready for marriage you should find a wife, not a girl or a woman.

Starting a courtship should be an intentional act on your part as a man; you should only start one when you are ready for marriage, and you have found a wife.

So many men enter a relationship with a girl or lady and try to turn her into a wife, this is an error. A lady should become a wife before she is qualified to get married. This means she's physically, spiritually, emotionally, financially, and psychologically ready to be a helpmeet.

So many men seek to marry a girl they can control, or a woman with a great body and height, when the emphasis should be on finding a woman with the heart of a wife.

You need the help of the Holy Spirit to find a wife, settling for something lesser with destroy your peace and can permanently damage the offspring you produce in the union.

The Holy Spirit helps you to find a woman with the heart of a wife, while the flesh leads you to a woman that may be pleasing to the eyes but toxic to your destiny.

Prov.19.14 Parents can provide their sons with an inheritance of houses and wealth, but only the LORD can give an understanding wife. (NLT)

DECLARATION
I'm a son/daughter of God Most High, and I submit to the guidance of my Father. I'm intentional about finding the right spouse with the help of the Holy Spirit, and I will not settle for less. Glorious settlement is my portion Hallelujah.

UNDENIABLE RESULTS

BIBLE TEXT: Gen.26 12-17

Gen.26.12 Isaac planted crops in that land and took in a huge harvest. GOD blessed him. (MSB)

Gen.26.13 The man got richer and richer by the day until he was very wealthy. (MSB)

Gen.26.16 Finally, Abimelech told Isaac: "Leave. You've become far too big for us." (MSB)

There are some harvests you can hide, you might want to be humble enough not to share Testimonies.

However, some harvests are too tremendous to go unnoticed, your friends and enemies cannot but notice the magnitude of the blessings of the Lord.

Because they have eyes they will see proofs, because they have ears they will hear from people close to you, and because they have mouths they will help share your testimonies because it's unusual and unbelievable.

What are you waiting on the Lord for? Let your faith be revived in the last month in year 2025. The Lord keeps the best for the last, the glory of the latter cannot but exceed the formal.

BEAUTY FOR ASHES

BIBLE TEXT: 2Sam.13 1-20

2Sam.13.18 So the servant put her out. She was wearing a long, beautiful robe, as was the custom in those days for the king's virgin daughters. (NLT)

2Sam.13.19 But now Tamar tore her robe and put ashes on her head. And then, with her face in her hands, she went away crying. (NLT)

2Sam.13.20 Her brother Absalom saw her and asked, "Is it true that Amnon has been with you? Well, don't be so upset. Since he's your brother anyway, don't worry about it." So Tamar lived as a desolate woman in Absalom's house. (NLT)

Two beautiful young ladies in the Bible ended up desolate, sad, and broken. Tamar's case was that of misplaced trust; she wasn't aware of her step-brother's obsession with her until she was a victim of r**e.

Dinah on the other hand, mixed with the wrong friends and ended up r@ped by a Prince who couldn't control his lust.

There is something spectacular about these two women, each a Princess in her own right and beautiful. Both of them didn't have the courage to rise out of their ashes.

Being a non-virgin at a time where so much value was placed on chastity was a burden on them, the fact that they didn't give away their virginity willingly didn't make them less ashamed.

Are you a victim of betrayal? Did you have your virtue forcefully taken from you? Or have you made a mistake in your past that seems irredeemable? Instead of ending up desolate, you should instead surrender to Him who has the power to give you beauty for ashes.

Don't let your past define you, there is a God who gives a new beginning. If you can come to the cross you can trade your sorrow and shame for salvation.

Isa.61.3 To all who mourn in Israel, he will give beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning, praise instead of despair. For the LORD has planted them like strong and graceful oaks for his own glory. (NLT)

MAKE UP YOUR MIND

BIBLE TEXT: Ruth. 1: 16-18

Ruth.1.17 I will die where you die and will be buried there. May the LORD punish me severely if I allow anything but death to separate us!" (NLT)

Ruth.1.18 So when Naomi saw that Ruth had made up her mind to go with her, she stopped urging her. (NLT)

Several years back I was very ill, and all hope of recovery seems slim or non existence. I was in so much pain and agony that I sometimes beg to be with the Lord.

I managed to continue my schooling because I didn't want to drop out, I was going to finish school no matter what. One day I attended a new church, and I explained what I was passing through to those in charge. I wanted to be prayed for, and I needed someone to stand in Faith with me.

A young prophet looked at me and said "What you are passing through is spiritual and unusual, there are some "elders" tormenting you, and you have to beg them if you want to be free. He proceeded to tell me if I'll agree we can do some sacrifices to appease the elders.

I looked at him and said "I will rather die than appease an elder, if I do so I'll be mortgaging my heaven". He was surprised that I was prepared to die. I told him "If I appease any elder with sacrifices that is idol worship and I'll never make heaven, Isn't it preferable for me to die so that I can make heaven?"

When I left his presence I went back to pray "Dear God, I believe your power is supreme, my Bible tells me there are 24 elders in heaven worshipping you and casting down their crowns daily. Let the elders in heaven meet the elders on earth troubling me and get me my freedom".

Several years later, I didn't compromise and didn't die. You have to learn that any solution that seeks to take God out of your life is the enemy of your soul.

Heb.12.4 In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. (NIV)

DECLARATION
I'm a son/daughter of God Most High, and I believe in the supremacy of my Father. I refuse to give in to any situation that will compromise my Faith. My Father is enough and I wait on His promises. I'm an overcomer Hallelujah.

KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS

BIBLE TEXT: Heb. 12: 2-6

Heb.12.2 Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed--that exhilarating finish in and with God--he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. (MSB)

Heb.12.3 When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls! (MSB)

It can be tough to be a Christian at times, knowing you have to keep following Jesus without finding an alternative.

You might have to endure suffering, keep Faith even when all hope seems lost, and never cut corners.

It might be tough at first, but if you can endure, overwhelming victory is yours.

If you are tempted to give up just keep your eyes on Jesus, think about all the suffering He endured because He wanted to do the Father's will, and the unmatchable glory and honour that followed.

Heb.13.6 we can boldly quote, God is there, ready to help; I'm fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me? (MSB)

TRUE FRIENDSHIP

BIBLE TEXT: Prov. 18: 24

Prov.18.24 Friends come and friends go, but a true friend sticks by you like family. (MSB)

I have seen several people betrayed by friends, I can even share some few experiences, but this does not mean that there are no true friends.

Friendship is refreshing when you have common goals, values, and both of you have deep love for God.

Being friends with an unbeliever will set you up for a life of pain and betrayal, because the devil can always use your friend to teach you a lesson.

You have to understand that it's more than having a Christian friend, you have to discern the heart of your friend using the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Jonathan was David's friend, and he saved him from this father's wrath several times. David would have been killed if not for the help of a selfless friend who saw beyond the greed of his father.

Several people have shared experiences of how their friends destroyed their dreams, set them up for a lifetime of pain, stole their relationship/marriages and attempt to take their lives. But there are also experiences of people saved and nurtured by a friend's love.

Prov.27.9 Just as lotions and fragrance give sensual delight, a sweet friendship refreshes the soul. (MSB)

DECLARATION
I'm a son/daughter of God Most High, and I understand that my Father wants me to offer others true and genuine friendship. I choose my friends by the help of the Holy Spirit to avoid a lifetime of pain and regret. I'm lead by the Holy Spirit Hallelujah.

OVERCOMING TEMPTATIONS

BIBLE TEXT: James. 1: 12 - 17

Jas.1.14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. (NKJV)

Jas.1.15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. (NKJV)

Temptations are reflections of our needs, values, desires, and choices.

Every time you are tempted the devil is trying to make you choose your needs over God's will and command. Who you yield to depends on who you love greatly.

God is not ignorant of our need for a good job, life partner, financial breakthrough, business success, deliverance etc However, He wants to be sure we love Him and trust Him enough to wait.

Temptation is a test of love, if you yield to the deceit of the devil and place your desire above God you'll surely live a life of regret.

I have known God enough to assure you that He cares about you as this child. When you are tempted look for a way of escape, and never yield to pressure to sacrifice your future for the thrills of today.

1Cor.10.13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. (NKJV)

NO EXCUSES

BIBLE TEXT: 2Thess. 3: 9-12

2Thess.3.9 And it wasn't because we didn't have a right to your support; we did. We simply wanted to provide an example of diligence, hoping it would prove contagious. (MSB)

2Thess.3.10 Don't you remember the rule we had when we lived with you? "If you don't work, you don't eat." (MSB)

2Thess.3.11 And now we're getting reports that a bunch of lazy good-for-nothings are taking advantage of you. (MSB)

2Thess.3.12 This must not be tolerated. We command them to get to work immediately--no excuses, no arguments--and earn their own keep. (MSB)

Being a Christian is not an excuse to live an average life, and being called into ministry is not an excuse to live a life of total dependency on others.

Several single sisters have been deceived into marrying and providing for brothers that felt they should never work because they are called into ministry. "I felt the call of God in my life since when I was young, God has called me into ministry and has chosen you as my helper to provide for our house" has been the lines these brothers use to deceive gullible sisters.

When Christ started his ministry many people that knew Him found it hard to believe Him at first, because He was right there in their midst helping His father with his carpentry trade and living a productive life.

Paul was bold to tell the church how he worked with his hands even though he was a minister of Christ. He didn't become a burden to anyone, and giving to him was a willing act the church engaged in when they saw the necessity.

Several Christian Single Sisters have been coerced into marrying lazy, unproductive, and vision less brothers because they have been made to believe he's the will of God. "I'm the will of God for your life, you just have to provide for our home for a while until I make it like our big fathers in faith. I'll start flying you in private jets then" is one of the empty promises made by this brothers.

Our fathers in faith that were great and blessed men of God today weren't unproductive before they entered ministry. Many of them were lecturers, business men, and some have thriving careers because God called them into ministry. Ministry is not something you enter into because you don't want to work or can't find a job.

God does not call lazy and unproductive people. As a young Christian brother called into ministry you should live a productive and blessed life.

Acts.18.3 Paul moved in with them, and they worked together at their common trade of tentmaking. (MSB)

DECLARATION
I'm a son/daughter of God Most High, and I my Father values productiveness. I live an excellent life life as an example, and there is no excuse for averageness. I'm made in God's image Hallelujah.

LED BY THE SPIRIT

BIBLE TEXT: Rom. 8: 10-15

Rom.8.13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. (NKJV)

Rom.8.14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. (NKJV)

So many young people want to know if God still leads His children. "Does God have a say in who I marry, my business, my education, and every area of my life?"

The answer is YES, God has a say and should have a say. The Holy Spirit is the voice of God, and through Him God guides His children into His truth.

Do not be afraid to seek God's will, what you'll get is more of a loving guidance. God is a gentle, and loving Father who always wants us to do what is right at all times.

Can you ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit? Can you ask God to release the spirit of truth into your life? Can you thirst and crave the peace that comes with divine guidance?

God is committed to showing you the right way if you let Him. Choose to trust Him, and surrender to His leadership, because He cannot lead you astray

MEMORY VERSE
Rom.8.9 But if God himself has taken up residence in your life, you can hardly be thinking more of yourself than of him. Anyone, of course, who has not welcomed this invisible but clearly present God, the Spirit of Christ, won't know what we're talking about. (MSB)

SPEAK GRACEFUL WORDS

BIBLE TEXT: Col. 4: 6

Col.4.6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. (KJV)

There are people described as having "Razor mouth", so many people are quick to avoid them because they always have cutting remarks that can tear others down.

I have seen a good number of people take pride in their perverse tongue, they believe their words are weapons, and they don't know how right they are.

As Christian we should understand that we'll give accounts of every word that proceeds out of our mouth, if you take delight in tearing others down with your words, you'll bear the weight of your sins.

Kindness is a fruit of the Spirit, and there is nothing glorious about a tongue that can inflict pains on others.

Your words should build others up and not pull them down, your words should bring healing and health and not death.

Don't be one of those people that are quick to throw unkind words around, watch what you say to others, and do not derive joy in causing others pain.

Be quick to condemn and avoid those with unkind words, the dangers they posses to others far outweigh any benefit of your association with them.

Prov.15.4 Gentle words bring life and health; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit. (NLT)

DECLARATION
I'm a son/daughter of God Most High, and I understand that my Father places value on Words. I speak and receive words that brings life and healing. My words are powerful and I use this power to lift others up. I'm the light of the world Hallelujah.

ENEMIES ARE TOOLS

BIBLE TEXT: Gen. 50: 16-21

Gen.50.20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. (NIV)

My favourite Bible verse when faced with opposition is "All things work together for good"

Several years back I was a young graduate awaiting NYSC deployment, and wanted somewhere close to home. My health has been unstable, and it was with great physical pains that I wrote my final exams. When I received my letter of deployment I was to serve in the Northern part of Nigeria, when I told my mom she was visible shaken.

My mom asked me to redeploy, she said I could do it on health ground. She believed I would be considered if I go to the camp with my health records..

I took the matter to God in prayers, I was sad because before the letter arrived I had prayed and saw deployment to a place in the South West.

I asked myself how I would manage in a far away place where there are no siblings or families. Where I couldn't even rush home if my health deteriorated. "Isn't this the plan of the enemy to end my life in a strange land?"

I stood before the Lord and said "If it is your plan then your will be done, if an enemy has done this let them regret ever sending me to a land far away".

I came home a year later stronger, healthier, and better in all areas. My spiritual life bubbling, I had discovered the will of God for me and I wasn't going to turn back.

I could remember the first time I attended church for the first time in the North, the man of God set eyes on me and said "I'm sorry, I have never met you before but God told me you are one of His chosen, and this is your path in life..." I wept like a baby, because I knew He was there with me, preparing me for the assignment ahead.

MEMORY VERSE
Rom.8.28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (NIV)

DECLARATION
I'm a son/daughter of God Most High, and I believe in divine arrangement. Every detailed of my life is working together to fit into my heavenly Father's master plan. Every of my experience of pains are plans to manifest His glory. I'm an overcomer Hallelujah.
